Justin knew how much work Megan had put into his place and he had to say, it looked amazing. Yes, he had resisted the change for a long time but he knew it just felt better in his place. It was nice to come home now. Of course he never knew if he would come home from class to find Megan in his flat. Those were good days.

Today he knew that Megan was on her way over. He wanted to show his appreciation for all of the work she had done for him. Justin stopped along the way and picked up some things for a light dinner and a lemon tart for dessert. He also made sure to grab a bottle of champagne which he had chilling. The lights were dim. Candles were lit on the table and music was playing as both the quiche and bread was warming in the oven. If he could, Justin would have taken Megan out to dinner and dancing but he had a very early class on Monday. He hoped she wouldn't mind a night in. That was why he was pulling out all of the stops to make up for an evening at home.

Megan was looking forward to the dinner at Justin. It was silly that after all of these years even the simplest dinner invitation gave her a secret thrill. It was as is she was expecting something to happen, that just never did. Still, she couldn't help but be excited, and even as she got ready that evening, her CD player playing in the background, Megan was trying to decide just what to wear that would be alluring, but not quite desperate.

Finally settling on a cute but flirty Gucci print dress, Megan finished with a few charms before heading downstairs to where the driver was waiting. Arriving at Justin's nearly fifteen minutes later, Megan thanked Geoffrey, before heading upstairs. Knocking on the door, Megan waited impatiently for Justin to answer.

	Hearing the knock on the door, Justin moved to open it after giving his flat one last look. He opened the door and smiles at her. "Hello Megs. Come in," he said stepping back letting her in. "You look beautiful this evening. Jackson is going to be upset he missed this," he said giving Megan a kiss hello. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Justin, darling. So lovely to see you." Megan said with a smile as she stepped toward him, greeting him with a couple of air kisses in greeting. "Who's Jackson?" Megan asked as she stepped past him and further into the flat.

Stopping in her tracks just a moment later, Megan glanced around the room. The lighting had hit her almost immediately, but even from where she stood she could see the decorated table and the candles over the living space. "Oh, Justin. This looks lovely." She said softly, glancing up and over at her best friend. "I didn't think it could look any better, but it does."

"No one of importance," Justin smirked. It was true, he hoped.

Justin watched Megan's reaction and couldn't help but smile. He came over to Megan and wrapped his arms around her from behind before he could stop himself. "I'm glad you like it," he said putting his chin on her shoulder. "I would have taken you out for dinner and dancing but I have class too early tomorrow. I hope you don't mind a night in instead." He let her go and stepped away hoping he hadn't overstepped his bounds. "Can I get you something to drink?" Justin asked clearing his throat. It had felt very nice to have her in his arms.

Megan rolled her eyes at the comment, certain that Justin was once again referring to Dustin. Honestly, she couldn't really understand what his problem was; last she'd heard they were still friends. When he wrapped his arms around her waist, Megan leaned her head against his chest, smiling as he rested his chin against her shoulder.

"It's very... homey." Megan said with a nod, trying to avoid the word romantic, because it was so romantic, as she closed her eyes briefly breathing in his scent. She'd always fancied his cologne and it was all to easy to melt against him. "I don't mind, I'm sure we can find plenty to do indoors. Though I will make you go out dancing with me next weekend." She warned glancing over and smiling at him.

Biting her lip briefly as he pulled away, Megan turned on her heels to face him. "Sure, that would be lovely. What are we drinking?"

Honestly, Dustin was someone he had known for many years. There was nothing wrong with him. It was just that Dustin wasn't right for Megan, not that he could think of anyone else that Justin would consider right for her.

"I was hoping you would like it," Justin smiled trying not too take too much of an advantage of his height and angle but that didn't mean he didn't glance down. The view was just too amazing to pass up. He smiled at her words. "Saturday night then," Justin said. "This way neither of us has to get up early the next day."

"I do have a bottle of wine around here somewhere but I do have champagne on ice if you would prefer."

"That'll be perfect." Megan agreed with a smile. "I could use a lovely night out and I haven't been dancing in far too long." Megan added as she headed toward the table. It was a relatively small space, but useful so they could still have a conversation as Justin got them their drinks.

"Oh no, champagne would be lovely." Megan said as she pulled out her chair. "You know I can't ever really turn it down."

	"It's a date then." "I know" Justin said. "That's why I picked up a bottle. You've done so much work that I wanted to thank you." He went over to open the bottle and poured both of them glasses. Megan smiled a little at the word. Date. If only he meant it. "It is."

"That may be, but you didn't have to thank me like this, so thank you, darling, it's very sweet of you." Megan replied as she sat down, referring to the care he'd taken that evening. "Oh lovely, arrived just in time then." Megan said as she watched Justin with the bottle. She didn't even have to ask which house it game from, knowing Justin knew her taste almost better than she did. "Thank you." She added as she accepted the glass.

	Justin did know Megan's preferences. It was from a house she enjoyed. It wouldn't do to get a bottle from somewhere she didn't like. Often they matched his own. "Impeccable time as always." "I do by best." Megan responded with a giggle as she lifted the glass to her lips. Taking a sip, she smiled at the taste. There was nothing better than proper champagne. At Justin's suggestion, Megan grinned and nodded. "Of course, darling, nothing would delight me more." Pushing back her chair, she stood, as gracefully as she could manage and held her hand out for Justin.

	Justin couldn't help but smile as Megan agreed. Justin put down his glass and took her offered hand kissing the back of it before he draped the hand over his shoulder and pulled Megan gently in close so her body was touching his. His lips touched her hand and Megan couldn't help the blush that crept across her cheeks. It might have been gallant of him,but all Megan could think about was where she'd rather those lips went, which only deepened the blush. Letting him pull her into his arms, she wrapped her arms around him and smiled up at her friend.

It was so hard not to get lost in Justin's arms. After a moments, Megan rested her head against his chest, closing her eyes as they danced to the music.

Looking down into Megan's eyes, Justin smiled at his friend. She was so beautiful and in his arms. They danced like that for a while with her head on his chest. He thought about her and how right this felt, She had to feel it too right?

Justin then thought of Dustin and how he didn't want him to look down at Megan like this or to feel her in his arms. There were so many conflicting emotions that Justin didn't want to think too much. He just acted on what felt right. Justin gently moved her head from his chest gently tipping her chin up so she was looking at him. Justin looked into Megan's eye before he lowered his lips to brush hers, hopeful that he wouldn't be pushed away.

Megan's brow furrowed in confusion as Justin moved her head away from his shoulder. Still, she soon found herself smiling up at him as she caught his eyes. When he leaned toward her, Megan didn't move, in fact she hadn't quite noticed that she'd all but stopped dancing. His lips were soon touching hers, she was a bit surprised at the sudden movement and the thrill that went through her.

Wrapping her arms around his neck she went up on her toes a bit, closing in the small distance. Kissing him back, she quickly lost herself in the kiss. Pulling back a few moments later she grinned up at Justin.

"About time, J. I was starting to wonder."

	There was no way that Justin could stop the smile as Megan kissed him back. It was a powerful sensation that slid down his spine that was all Megan's doing. "I was trying not to!" Megan responded, trying not to sound defensive and failing rather miserably. Still, she couldn't help but press herself closer against him. Megan grinned at him, lightly chewing on her lower lip. "You were supposed to give in a long time ago, Justin." She ran her fingers lightly through the hair at the nape of his neck. "Not make me think you weren't interested."

"Did you enjoy the view?" Megan asked, chewing on her lower lip again, as she looked at him. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous, but she was suddenly feeling terribly unsure of herself. Justin fancied her. He really truly did, and it was like everything she'd ever hoped, except surely it wasn't so easy. At his question she glanced over her shoulder, toward the kitchen, hoping to avoid the question. "Isn't dinner ready? You know, shouldn't burn it."

	Justin looked down at Megan. He ran his fingers over Megan's cheek. "You are stunning" he assured her. It was exactly how he felt about her. Justin shook his head. He finally had Megan in his arms. His fingers felt lovely against her skin, his caresses sending shivers through her. The words were lovely too, and she knew that he meant it. Then he kissed her again, and everything was perfect again. "No... not hungry." Megan murmured against his lips as she kissed him again. Pushing her body against his, she closed her eyes as she eagerly kissed him. She could happily stay like this forever.
