Ginny pursed her lips and reached for the wand that laid perched carefully on the stand next to the hospital bed. Considering the situation of things it was better to be prepared and have her wand close and it did make moving easier. Well summoning things like her shoes and such. If she was going to manage a jailbreak she needed her shoes.

"Oh Merlin's beard," Ginny grumbled as she summoned her shoes and tried to put them on. The healer had mended her broken leg, burns, and other injuries but she was still sore. Sore and worried. At least she was there and being taken care of when others weren't so lucky.

"Lets skip the hellos and get out of her," Ginny said as her friend came into the room. Hellos could be done after. "Besides the nurses here are so nosy. They are always hanging around hoping to hear something or something. Godric maybe they really think Harry will show up or something." Ginny rolled her eyes.

Lavender had run into Mrs Weasley in the hallway and said she'd keep an eye on Gin while she went down to talk to the healer in charge of her daughter. This was the big reason that she had been out of the way when Lavender entered the room to find her friend struggling to get her shoes one.

"We have just a few minutes, so you can either slip these on-" She sai as she pulled a pair of slippers out of her bag "-or you can quiet down while I tie your shoes. I suggest these." She set the slippers at Gin's feet and helped get her feet in them. At the same time, she picked up the shoes she'd struggled with and stuck them in her bag. "Your mum's just down the hall so we need to hurry. You room's close enough to the lift that we don't have to pass where she's at."

Lavender held out her hand to help her friend up, unsure of just how serious her wounds were at this point. "Can you walk or do you need support? I've got a steady shoulder."

"Few minutes, got it." Ginny noted. "Just tie my shoes please." There was no way she was going to wear slippers and well they weren't very practical anyhow. She needed a good pair of shoes for what she needed to do.

"Lead away oh all knowing one," Ginny added in light mockery as she let her friend help her up. She was a bit unsteady but she was alright. It wasn't like she hadn't had worse on the quidditch pitch. "Just a shoulder will be fine. Long as we can get out before my mum finds out and then she will be hunting me down."

God Molly was going to kill her. "She's on edge already and I am only going to make it worse. Lets go before I change my mind."

"Be greatful I decided to forgo the robe as well. It'd be easier to pass up someone walking a patient down the hall than to miss someone smuggling an injured person out of the place they should be." Despite her argument, Lavender stooped to put o and tie Ginny's sneakers, careful of jostling the sore leg too much.

"No mocking the one who's getting you out of here. I can always leave you here." She said as she quirked a brow as if daring her friend to say anything else. "I'll get you down to the main floor, from there, you need to let me know where you're going."

"Yes yes let's get going." With that, she helped Ginny to the door and peeked her head out to see if Mrs Weasley had returned, or was anywhere near their destination. For the moment, the coast was clear. "Alright Ginny, let's go. One foot and then the other, one, two, three...." And with that, they were out the door and taking it step by step towards the lift.

Ginny shot her a look but it was all in good fun. "Hey hey, I would find my way out of here if I had to on my own! You forget who my brothers are! Well, expect Percy because he would never attempt this..." Her other brothers would probably assist in the process.

"I have to go home but then I have to go over to Bill's house and check things out." Ginny said bluntly. She took it one step at a time. "If we want to do the DA thing again we should but first I have to go check on my family."

"So, Bill's first? I don't think you should be going anywhere on your own just yet. I hope you don't mind if I tag along. Two lame ducks are better than one after all." Two doors away from the lift, Lavender had a thought and stopped in her tracks. "You gingers are noticeable from down the corridor, should your mum look back she'll spot you. Move a little faster."

Those last few steps were agonizingly slow, it felt like an eternity before she got Ginny on the lift and closed the door. "The DA would be an excellent idea right now. Family first, plans later." She said with a nod as they slowly went down. "Goric! I hate these things."

"I am working on it," Ginny said as she focused on making her feet move faster than they wanted to. Magic was great in the sense that it healed the breaks quickly but they were still sore.

Ginny chewed her lip a moment. "I am not sure I can take you to Bill's place with me. I am not really sure how the charms work...." Technically Bill was the Secret Keeper and Ginny wasn't sure it was the same for her to tell her the secret. Well, maybe? They had all found Grimwald Palace when it had been an Order safe house.

"I have to know if Fleur is there though. No one has seen her and Bill is away on business."

"Okay. I'll let you go, but please be careful. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened to you." Lavender understood, one could never be too careful with information about where they lived. She understood the magic behind keeping such things secret. "No getting lost out there on your way there. And then come right home, your mum's going to kill me for letting you go on your own."

"I'm going to expect a message from you when you get home and are safe, you understand?" She frowned, her brow creasing as she thought over what Ginny had said. "I hope Fleur's alright."

Ginny thought about it a moment. "Oh forget it, come with me." She was sure it would be okay if she knew where they were going and she doubted Lavender was the type to be passing that type of information around. "I might fall over if you leave me to my own devices."

"I am sure she is," Ginny said with a shrug. Fleur was Fleur and she was like a freaking cat Ginny was certain. She always seemed to land on her feet and come off looking like a doll. "She probably just got distracted with some project or other. I mean we are not even sure she missed the Carnival. Even so she should have tried to find us considering what happened and she isn't with Bill. Maybe she is just home sick and hasn't heard or something?"
