She shrugged and ran her hands over her skirt, smoothing out imaginary wrinkles. "If they are half mine, I would like to help absolve them so there's nothing I then owe."

"Now, I am supposed to make him do what it is you have planned for him, or you're coming back to collect from me. I am correct in this, yes? Now who is supposed to shut up? Me or him? Or both?" By the end of her questions, Astoria's eyes grew large as she covered her mouth with her hands.

"I'm sorry..." She said her words muffled before she dropped her hands again. "I don't know what's gotten into me."
