Priss really shouldn't be wasting her battery power like this, but at the moment, she didn't care. The idiots who plagued this city were beginning to drive her up a wall and she was tired of sitting around and waiting for someone to figure out how to get them back or that club to contact her and let her know she got the singing gig. The rest of her band wasn't here, but singing solo wasn't that bad and would give her something to do other than sit in her room and write songs that no one would ever hear.

And she didn't even have the room to herself anymore! Whoever or whatever ran this place had decided to give her a roommate. Priss was so not the roommate type--she could barely stand sitting in the mobile pit for too long with Nene and Linna. How the hell was she supposed to deal with a roommate and a male one at that?

"Fucking figures," Priss muttered, her voice altered by the helmet of her hardsuit. Taking a step back, she bolted into a sprint and pushed off the roof of the building, shooting straight up into the air thanks to the jets in her suit, and fell down and down and down, until she landed perfectly on the street below.

Straightening out, she spun, kicked a leg up and out into the air and threw a few punches at an invisible foe. Holding a hand up in front of the visor in her helmet, she flexed her fingers in and out of a fist.

"At least the suit still works."

Aaron had been minding his own business. As well as someone with an bird's eye-well Angel's eye-view of the city could. It wasn't that he hadn't expected for what Eve to say to be true. After being thrown onto steps by walking statues, after finding out his destiny, there wasn't much that Aaron wouldn't believe to be true. Still, he wouldn't have been himself if he hadn't tried.

There was a barrier. He was sure if it, yet could never get close enough without ending back up in the library. He'd had planned at going at it with his sword, filled with the hottest possible angel fire that he could manage. Yet he'd always ended up back in the library. It was all he could have manage not to vent his frustrations out on the roof of the building, sending a blast of angel fire that would have sent the thing imploding all around him. However, Aaron managed to control himself. Just so. It didn't hurt that the little voice in his head was Camael. He wouldn't dishonor all his friend had done for him by getting himself hurt because of a falling building. He doubted he would have gotten out without some serious wing damage and Ariel wasn't around for the healing. He doubted anyone was.

So instead he had taken flight. Taken flight and attempted to calm himself down. His mom and dad had to be freaking out. He'd promised them. Promised he'd never just disappear like that. And other that one fight when he was just getting his powers, for defending ... Well, he'd never broken a promise since then. And this, Aaron knew was worse than just a stupid fight to defend a kid from a bully.

Soaring as high as the place would allow him, without being sent back to the libary, Aaron noticed something. Far off. Something, someone jumping off a building? There was no way they'd be able to make that. Concern warred and definitely beat logic and common sense, especially when logic and common sense deemed that a person wouldn't be able to fly without wings or make it to the next building top. And Aaron flew right towards the person.

Only to notice that the .. robot? Was fine. Just what he needed. More robots. Aaron frowned down at it. As he stayed suspended in the air behind it, because of his wings.
