isabella marie cullen; bella ([info]notsoaverage) wrote in [info]colligo_threads,
The second someone had appeared on the street, Bella had picked up on it. As he got closer, she was able to pick up on his scent, and it came back very not-human. It wasn't like the smell of the vampires at home, but it was close. It was definitely no shape-shifter smell, or the scent of her hybrid daughter. As the person came closer, she kept her attention on the window, though her eyes tightened, becoming more aware, more guarded. She'd only been a vampire for about a year, some newborn tendencies hadn't left her, and she could only be pushed so far on her own, with no one from her family there.

Slowly, very deliberately slowly, she turned her head to the person who was at her side, gold eyes fixing onto this. Black eyes. A few hours ago, their eyes would have matched. She glanced back at the window, raising her shoulders in a shrug, and not looking at anything particular. "Sure. Most of it. Antiques are fascinating." and when it came to antiques in her family, they almost always had an interesting story behind them. Which was probably why she liked them so much.

Esme would love the table they had on display, she was sure at one point in time, Alice would have loved some of the clothing further into the shop. She probably would have considered it the latest fashion, though now it would just be a costume. Jasper might love to get his hands on some of the books in there, and who knew what else she could find, just be staring inside there long enough. But her family, at least half of it, wasn't here.
