"Thank you, Noah, sweetheart," Elle said with a warm smile for her son. She really did adore him, even if he wasn't the four year old she was used to and she wasn't the mother he remembered. None of that changed the fact that he was her son. "You're going to have a younger sibling soon...I'm sure that's got to be a little strange for you."
She was relieved by Gabriel's reaction, wrapping her arms around his neck to return the hug, then holding on tightly as he spun her around. Wow...she felt a little dizzy from that, but at the same time giddy. "I'm glad," she said with a grin, happy that he was so pleased with the news. Standing up on her tiptoes, she kissed him, just happy to have him back with them. "You'll be coming home, won't you?" she asked, just to be sure. She was fairly certain the answer would be yes, but she didn't want to assume.
