Jaina wanted to point out that the Sith were hardly gone, that as long as there were Jedi there would be Sith, but she didn't bother. She might have, however, if it weren't for his rather... unexpected reaction to what she'd said. And although Jaina knew that he hadn't raised her Uncle Luke, she was suddenly struck with how very much alike they were when it came to not handling praise all that well.
"You're welcome," she replied simply enough. She thought briefly about continuing, mostly to see if she could get him to shuffle his feet again, but ended up opting against it. Teasing people she knew was one thing. Teasing a man she'd just met, even if he was part of her family, wasn't in good form. She could practically see her Aunt Mara giving her a disapproving look for even considering it.
Ignoring the slight flash of pain that squeezed her heart at the thought of her fallen Master, the woman gave Anakin another smile. "So, I'll make you a deal. I won't judge you based on things that you've never done if you can do the same for me," she offered. "Since again, just for good measure, I've never met you before and, honestly, can't imagine acting that way, especially at that age, even if I had."
