Oh, Trance was used to staring. Even in a century where humans that hadn't intermingled with the other species in the galaxy were the rarity, she got plenty of stares. Mostly because people, even those with vast and infinity knowledge, weren't able to place her specie. So she just grinned at him when he managed to pull his eyes away, swishing her tail deliberately to tease him before she turned her gaze back up to his, a soft smile on her face.
"Because the likely probability of you walking back out of this bar under your own power is 13,459 to 1 while the likely probability of you ending up passed out on the floor is only 20 to 1."
As she held his attention, stepping a little closer to him and tilting her head upwards to smile, her tail snaked out, lifting his phaser from where it was holstered. Out stretching her hand with apparently no reason, his phaser was dropped into it a second later, and Trance immediately shifted her attention. She knew all too well what it was for and how it worked. But the innocent act never hurt anything.
