He turned it over in his palm, admiring the shiny, un-reflective surface as if it were the most amazing thing he'd ever seen. Shooting a glance at his son, he brandished it, waving it in the air almost tauntingly. "Would you like to visit it again? I can easily make reservations."
Punishment. Sometimes actions had consequences. Yes, he'd paid attention to that when Kathy told him such was needed. He was trying. He really, really was. Kathy would be proud of him for the effort, right? Oddly enough, he wished she was here.
