Awkward. That's how Willow felt as she hurriedly ran a brush through her hair. Awkward, and confused, and embarrassed and... awkward. Yes, she actually felt awkward twice as much as the others. Possibly three times as much, she couldn't be sure. All she knew was that she'd had one of the best naps she'd had in years, if not her entire life, and it was quite likely due to having fallen asleep with Oz.
Oz, who was her ex-boyfriend and the first love of her life. Oz, who was very much a boy. Oz who... well, he was Oz and, while he would always have a piece of her heart, Willow had considered herself far, far, far over him.
Until she'd woken up on that couch with a smile on her face and the feeling of his body against hers and... awkward. Yes. Very, very awkward.
Truthfully, if she wasn't the one responsible for keeping the city safe from the werewolves, she probably would have feigned being sick and locked herself in the bedroom for the night. However there were others that were counting on her, others who were going to be present tonight to sit with her, and she couldn't just not show up. That would be bad.
So she finished getting herself and her supplies ready (although she didn't bother changing clothes since, really, the ones she'd taken the nap in were some of the comfiest she owned) and came out of the bedroom determined not to dwell on what had happened. She'd even managed to smile at Oz as they'd left the apartment together and keep up semi-idle chitchat the entire walk to the building. Yet with every passing second, the situation just seemed to grow even more uncomfortable until she was giving herself a mental peptalk just to keep herself from fleeing back to the apartment.
It was just a nap, she told herself firmly. Just a little nap with someone that I happen to care about and it wasn't bad or dirty or wrong and it didn't mean anything and... and... oh, who am I kidding? With a soft sigh, her gaze cut to the man walking beside her and she finally worked up enough nerve to speak about That Which Had Transpired.
"So, about this afternoon. I-" Anything she said was stopped, rather abruptly, as she spotted someone else drawing near. With another sigh, she gave Oz a weak sort of smile and backed out before the other person could get too close.
"Um... nevermind."
