Fred was practically bouncing around the apartment as she picked up her keys. Wesley was back to normal. It had been more than a little unnerving to arrive and find out the man she loved was a child, as adorable as little Wesley had been. He'd gotten a few weeks away from his father at least. That was something and worth not being able to see adult him for a few weeks.
But now that he was back, she wanted to see him badly. It took her no time to make her way to his apartment and knock on the door, clasping her hands behind her back as she waited for him to answer.
When the door swung open, her already wide grin grew wider and instead of walking past him, she moved inside and flung her arms around his neck, looking up at him. "I missed you," she said quietly.
