Aaron didn't really so much startle as his heart sped up slightly, more from the sound of the other voice than the flight. It wasn't so much as he was consciously hiding what he was, with all the angels around ... and a demon and a son of Lucifer from another dimension all admitting and being free with who they were, it was that he'd just spent so long since discovering who he was in hiding. It took a bit of doing, forcing himself to mentally calm, not to turn around and just take off.
When he took a good look at who was in front of him, Aaron relaxed even further. He didn't particularly know who the person was, but the device was slightly familiar and the face a bit more so. Aaron never really watched that much t.v. but one of his foster parents, he remembered them being really into the entire Star Trek thing. Realizing that this person was one of the many Star Trek people, caused him to smile slightly, and also to feel a bit sheepish. This guy had probably seen, heard, and dealt with things that looked stranger than he was. That probably were stranger than he was. And that was saying something, since in his dimension he was unique as Lucifer's son and he was probably unique in all dimensions (alternate realties aside?) as the Redeemer.
His smile widening just slightly, he nodded. "Yeah. It really is. Perfect night for smiting." Aaron's mouth curved into small grin, to show that he was joking, before holding out his hand. He tried to avoid awkward when he could and besides he had manners. Lots of them, "Aaron Corbett."
