It started out with an easy conversation of who would win: Batman or Dracula. Ben would be the first one to likely agree with everyone else that he was having a difficult time adjusting but he still hadn't sat down with his "adopted brother" to ask him if he knew the Ben from before. If he was friends with the Ben from before. If this was difficult for him as well. The one thing he didn't want to do is lessen the blow for himself when it came to facing a family he never even knew but was well-acquainted to him. They were expecting something from him he couldn't give. For the little ones, he sort of felt bad for that. They knew the other version of him -- the happier version of him. The one who didn't have to be forced into a hunter's life. The one who probably had a much better life than the one he had.
Here, in this place, he didn't have to dwell. He just had to live.
Ben had managed to barter some stuff he found to get a motorcycle. It really wasn't that difficult. When he messaged Jesse after finally breaking through the barrier of 'I don't just use my powers all willy nilly' he told him he'd meet him in an isolated location. Somewhere that would be a safe distance away from the population so he could have a 'last horrah' if someone could say it like that. The general supernatural population had clearly outnumbered the...ones that weren't supernatural. He just had to learn to live in the world he did now. Where vampires had children, mutants went to school, and things that he was still having a difficult time wrapping his mind around it. He sat atop his bike, flexing his hands around the bars as he waited for Ben to show up. He was sort of excited to say the least, not many people could say that they hunted down a werewolf that was made specifically for them to chase around all night.
"You know, I was startin' to feel like a jilted prom date dude." He smirked as Jesse stepped a little closer.
