WHAT: Hank has something he needs to ask Raven
WHEN: Monday, November 5th, Evening.
WHERE: The X Mansion; Raven's room
RATING: PG probably
STATUS: In Progress
It had been a few weeks now since Hank and Raven had taken Abu out to the park, where Hank had climbed up into a tree to retrieve the monkey when he'd gotten away from him and if he was honest, he'd actually enjoyed himself and of course the kiss Raven had given him as he'd hung upside down from a branch after retrieving Abu had made it even more enjoyable. Of course when the outing had ended, they weren't any closer to figuring out what was going on between them even though it was fairly obvious how they felt about the other. Since then Hank had planned to try and speak to Raven again, but Asaph had decided that instead they were all going to forget their time in Colligo. During the two weeks where everyone thought they had only just been brought to the planet, Asaph had also decided that it was time for Hank to receive memories of the events that had happened after he'd injected himself with his serum. Not only did these events include the fight with Shaw, but Raven leaving with Erik. Along with that memory came the way Hank had felt as he'd watched Raven leave, which was a feeling Hank never wanted to feel again. As a result, once their memories of their time in Colligo had been returned to them, Hank had made the decision that he didn't want to have any more regrets when it came to Raven and had spent the last two weeks or so, trying to come up with the perfect things to say to her. However, in the process of trying to figure out the perfect thing to say, Hank had come to realize that he was only wasting time and it didn't matter so much what he said, but that he finally said it. He knew that he trusted Raven more than anyone else and that she returned her feelings, so the only thing stopping them from being together was him; or at least he hoped that, that was the only thing. He didn't know what he'd do if he'd been completely wrong this entire time.
Knowing that he needed to talk to her now, before something else happened to cause him to have to wait, Hank headed for Raven's room, which was the first place he always looked for her. Taking a deep breath, he straightened his glasses then knocked on the door. It was now or never. Hank didn't know what he'd do if he woke up one morning to find Raven had been sent home without him having told her exactly how he felt. While it would still hurt if it happened afterwards, he would certainly regret it if he didn't say something now. "Raven, are you in there?" If she wasn't then there were still a few other places where she was likely to be, but he hoped that she was in her room, because it was much more private than most other rooms in the mansion.
