WHO: Loki Laufeyson (ickle!) & Clint Barton
WHAT: Loki is curious about Clint. For Loki, this manifests itself in shadowing him. Unfortunately for the little Norse God, Clint's senses are a bit better than Loki's sneaking skills.
WHEN: September 30th; Evening
WHERE: The Colligo Streets
RATING: PG

Loki had always been a curious individual, and there wasn't any place that this held more true than with new people. It was rare, meeting individuals that he didn't already know, and this place had afforded him an opportunity that he didn't often get outside of the occasional visit from the Alfar or trips to Vanaheim. Loki was intent on making the most of it. And while he'd already added one rather interesting figure to his list of people in this place to watch, another had popped up on his radar that he was finding quite a bit of difficulty getting information on.

Clint had been another who had been turned small by this place, and while they had gotten along, seemingly, during that event, when the affects had worn off, his statements had given Loki some pause. After all, for one to prefer him younger, it meant that there was some sort of dislike to be had with his elder self. And while he had no true desire to know exactly what that was -- their own futures should not be too well known to them for that was often what created issues -- Loki did realize that that likely meant asking about the man was unlikely to yield any thorough results. Why would anyone give information to the younger version of someone they didn't care for with the full knowledge that once they returned to that state, they would remember it all?

So Loki had turned to his most reliable method of information gathering. It had provided him with more than enough details upon his brother and his friends, what they did, as well as what they thought of him when he truly wasn't around. Blending into the shadows, obscuring himself from other's visions, it was mere child's play, and having slipped into the shadows upon spotting Clint out during the evening, Loki had set himself to shadowing the other man's movements, trailing just behind him and out of sight, and doing his best to keep himself concealed. And Loki had been pretty sure he'd been doing an excellent job of doing so until he rounded a corner and realize that he'd completely lost his quarry.

Turning on his heel once, twice, keeping his eyes peeled for any sign of the man, Loki scowled to himself when he realized just how badly he'd failed. Again. He couldn't even track properly.
