Severus rolled his eyes as he watched the wizard taste the muggle alcohol. But he had to commend the pureblood for his willingness to try something very muggle - his limited assumptions of the other man were being proven wrong, and it wasn't as if Severus minded. And, hell, if there was a place to start experimenting with muggle things, alcohol was definitely the best place to start - so long as it wasn't beer. Severus couldn't stomach beer on account of his father's love of the stuff, or favorite use of empty beer bottles as an improvised striking implement when his belt just wasn't as handy.
"That is not how you drink Vodka," Severus said, relishing the feeling of superiority. He waved the bartender for a shot glass of his own and then poured himself a shot full. In one graceful move he brought the drink to his lips and threw it back. It burned going down and he closed his eyes momentarily to take it, but the sensation quickly passed and he slammed the small cup back on the counter.
"That is how you drink vodka," he smiled cockily at his companion, pointing at the cup, daring him to follow suit.
