Jonathan carefully stared Hannah through the stables, pinching her nose shut so she couldn't smell where they were, before positioning her outside Nightmare's stall, shushing his horse.

He removed his fingers from her nose, before pulling the blindfold from her eyes, allowing her to come face to face with the family pet.

Nightmare looked the small girl over, glancing at her owner before sniffing Hannah's hair, searching her for a moment before snorting on her, giving her approval.

Jonathan grinned. "What do you think?" he asked Hanna, reaching out to scritch Nightmare's nose.
