Warnings: AU change Alice does drink human blood, so keep that in mind if you want to thread with her. She's impossible to stop and it would be pretty OOC for a vampire to let a human go, but if you want to thread and have an idea, feel free to send me an email or catch me on AIM. :)

Alice made her way easily down the alleys of Colligo, sticking to the shadows and avoiding the regular sidewalks that she had discovered could sometimes become crowded even at this time of the night. Her red eyes glinted in the darkness as she stalked her prey. Her lips fell open and she breathed in the scent of the man she had been following for miles. She had to wait until he got far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown to grab him. She was hungry, but she didn't want to raise a fuss from the humans. She wanted to stay here as long as possible without trouble, even though she knew the humans couldn't actually do anything to her.

The petite vampire moved silently, even the gauzy fabric of her skirt not making a sound as she moved. She paused at the mouth of an alley, watching the man she had been following. She was getting ready to pounce when she heard a noise. Someone that she hadn't expected was nearby, distracting her for an instant. Who the hell was there?

Her bad mood hadn't improved since she was returned to her normal self. Between the loss of a family that was never actually hers, and Clark acting like complete moron. She'd spent a whole lot of time that night flying. She'd spent most of the day sun basking, and was still lost in thought, and annoyance, later on that night. Her body flew silently over the roof tops, raising up or swooping down depending on how high the buildings were.

She wasn't paying that much attention to what was going on, more lost in her own thoughts, but from a birds eye view, sometimes it was just hard to miss things. Like the tiny little figure...following a full grown man. Kara stopped, pulling herself up and hovering in a position. Silently to herself, she breathed out 'Now what are you doing?'

The girl picking up on her muttering was hardly what Kara had expecting. Eyes narrowing, she lowered herself down toward the ground, blue eyes looking to her...red ones?

((OOC: Sorry this has taken so long! I've been packing and some other craziness. Hopefully I'll be on AIM tomorrow!))

Alice knew she heard something. She'd been far too focused on the man she was hunting and hadn't been keeping her mind open to her own future outside of her prey. She was certain she was going to get him cleanly, until she'd heard the noise. She attempted to see into her future to see what this noise would bring, who it was, but all of a sudden her visions went blank. That had rarely ever happened to her (that she knew of).

Unless something was terribly wrong with her, (and she seriously doubted that) who or what had made the noise was neither human nor vampire.

She caught a hint of movement out of the corner of her eye and immediately whirled around to face a woman who appeared to be... floating? Flying? Some kind of nonsense like that. And it made Alice extremely uncomfortable. She doubted that this woman could actually hurt her... but she never knew anyone who could actually fly. Just vampire who could move fast enough to make it look like they were flying.

Her red eyes narrowed as she looked up at her, both wishing she were taller so she could appear more threatening, but also glad of her petite stature. Everyone always underestimated her. "Who are you?" she demanded in her high, smooth voice.

"Kara." she replied, arms crossing over her chest. "Though I'd say most people here would know the name Supergirl first." her voice was flat, unamused, not exactly pleased. She didn't take kindly to people who hurt the human race. She'd decided they were worth protecting, and that was exactly what she was going to do. And since Supergirl was apparently a well known name, she might as well drop it, just to see the reaction she could get.

Besides, it wasn't like anything could harm her, save magic and Kryptonite, and she doubted there was much of the green stuff just laying around for anyone to find.

"Seemed like you were following that guy there." she said, glancing over her shoulder. Her hearing became stronger as she kept listening to make sure the person was still walking away, and with any luck, would just keep walking.
