With her PDA gripped tightly in one hand, Parker's own arms went up in front of her to about chest level, elbows bent and her free hand open and palm facing outward in a pseudo 'surrender' gesture. That wasn't what she meant by it. No, it was much more of a 'no touching' movement on her part, but considering a quick glance at the man she'd bumped into revealed that he was armed with a sword of all things, she supposed the intent to surrender worked just as well.
She had only just barely managed not to fall backward onto the sidewalk and was frowning mildly at her own clumsiness - clearly brought on by a lack of paying attention considering she was one of the most agile people she knew - when the man finally spoke. Blinking, the blond stared up at him for almost a full thirty seconds waiting for the punchline to his joke. When he didn't offer one, she realized that he was being serious. Only then did she react in the only way she could manage.
She laughed.
Well, it was more like a snort that turned into a chuckle, but the sentiment was the same. Peering up at him with an amused grin on her face, she exclaimed, "You're dressed like you just came from a Crusade! That's great!"
Almost as an afterthought, she added, "Oh, but don't call me 'good lady'. It's weird."
