Katniss practically ran the distance between the library and Building A. She was here again. She wasn't really upset about that fact. Colligo hadn't been that bad of a place to be but she was without Peeta before and she had been worried about him, not to mention, very lonely.

He was here now. Katniss didn't really know whether that was something to celebrate or not. On one hand. She was here with him and they were away from Panem. On the other hand, she wasn't sure how Peeta was going to handle being taken away from their home in District 12 and Panem and being forced to stay here. Peeta had been making great progress and Katniss didn't want him to suffer any set backs. She'd worry about that later. Right now, she just wanted to see Peeta.

Rushing up to the sixth floor, she easily found their room. Opening the door, she rushed over the threshold and into their apartment, looking around.

"Peeta? Are you here?"

Although Peeta was adjusting quite well to his prosthetic leg, he was not as fast as Katniss was. He never had been, honestly, and she was at the room before he was.

He heard her calling his name, and leaned in the doorway, crossing his arms with a little smile on his lips, waiting for her to notice him.

He was dressed rather simply, in a pair of black pants and a blue t-shirt, his sturdy black boots the only thing that he kept and used from his Hunger Games wardrobe. He almost called out to her, but restrained himself a bit longer, wanting to see her face when she finally saw him.

Katniss looked around the room. The room was similar to the one that she stayed in before and by looking around, it appeared that she had beat Peeta to the their room.

Katniss sighed softly and smiled, bouncing on her toes, barely able to contain her excitement. Peeta was here. In Colligo. With her. Katniss turned, deciding to go poke her head out into the hallway to see if she could see Peeta when she spotted Peeta in the doorway. Her smile turned into a grin as she rushed over to him, throwing her arms around her and hugging him.

"Peeta! You're here! I mean, I know that we talked on the PDA but I thought that I might have been dreaming. But you're here and I'm so glad to see you."

Peeta wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head, a twinkle in his blue eyes.

"I'm the one who can't tell fantasy from reality, not you, Katniss," he said, a smile softening the dark undertone of meaning. With another kiss, he made his way inside and took a quick tour of the place, stopping for perhaps a moment more than necessary to examine the kitchen. Then he returned to the living room and sat on the couch, holding out his arms to her.

"Tell me what this place is, and how you've been here before without me knowing."

Katniss hugged Peeta tighter, not wanting to let him go. "I'm just glad you are here." Smiling as she felt him kiss the top of her head again, she let go, allowing Peeta to enter their room and look around, smiling as she noticed his long look at the kitchen.

Once he settled on the couch, Katniss sat down beside him, easily settling into his arms. "Colligo? Well, I'm not sure how to best explain it but from my understanding, everyone here has been brought here...collected...for one reason or another. From my experience, it's a pretty harmless place. There are people here from all different places. Some are not even human. There are vampires here. People with magic powers. Angels even."

Katniss took his hand in hers and intertwined their fingers and she gave his hand a squeeze. His second question was even harder to answer. "Well, I have been told that when we are collected and brought here, there is a version of us back in our homes. Our friends and family don't know we are missing. I'm sorry I cannot explain it better."

Peeta shook his head. None of it made any sense to him, but all that really mattered was that he was here with Katniss, and nobody was trying to kill him. It wasn't like home was some kind of paradise. Far from it. Outside it looked...well...like the Capitol, he supposed, in the days before the war. When they'd been there for the Games, or the Victory Tour.

He raised his hand to stroke her cheek gently.

"This isn't Panem, either, is it? It's very different. Very strange. Very..."

He paused as he sought the right word.

"It looks very...trusting. Very safe. Like they've never heard of the Hunger Games, and people lead their lives without really worrying of people hurting them."

Katniss smiled as Peeta reached up and stroked her cheek and she shook her head slightly, relaxing even more into his arms.

"No. It's not Panem. When I arrived here last time, I thought I was in a strange version of the Hunger Games but nobody knew what it was. There's nothing like that here. People have jobs here. Go to school. Have fun."

Katniss was silent for a few moments, just enjoying this time in Peeta's arms. "Strange things can happen here sometimes. When I first arrived, these strange creatures called gremlins invaded Colligo. It wasn't that bad really but other than strange things like that, this place seems to be safe. We're safe here."

	"You're safe with me Peeta." Katniss squeezed his hand again. "We're here and there's a reason why we were brought here together. We're two halves of a whole." "What about your mother?" he asked softly. "And Haymitch? And even Annie? Don't they need us?"

His family was gone, all of them, except for Katniss, but there were people in Panem he'd miss, people he felt a responsibility towards. And this place...he didn't know what to make of it, but it wasn't home. It wasn't comfortable. And he still wasn't sure if it was real.

"We won't be missed Peeta. My mother, Haymitch, Annie...they all think we are still in Panem. If we are sent home to Panem, we wake up in the exact day and place that we were taken. Nobody is none the wiser. I'll miss them but it's easier knowing that they are not at home worrying."

"Do you want to explore the city? We need to get some food too. I know how much you love my cooking." Katniss giggled.

Katniss didn't make any move to get off of the couch. She was content to stay right where she was with Peeta on the couch but she knew that they had to get up and get some food. If they were going to be staying here for the unforeseen future, they would need food.

Katniss moved so that she was looking at Peeta and she smiled, truly content. Leaning in, she kissed him gently. "We have been given $100 each to work with. We'll have to get a job. There's different shops in the city."

Katniss hoped that Peeta would open up his own bakery. Baking was his talent and he was good at it and she knew that it was familiar to him and would make him happy. That's all she wanted for him. His happiness.

	"But you want to go back to school," he said, returning the kiss softly. "I'll get a job, you do that. We can make it just fine if we live frugally, and I think we both know how to do that." Katniss smiled. "I do want to go back to school but I can get a part time job too. I don't want you having to work just to support us. I'm sure we can make it just fine on one income but I want to contribute too."

They would live comfortably in Colligo, even on one income but Katniss didn't want Peeta to be solely responsible for them. She wanted him to have a chance to relax and enjoy his time.
