Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Adam Layman and Sam Winchester
What: Meeting.
When: Wednesday Evening.
Where: Their apartment.

Adam hadn't done much of anything since he had gotten to his apartment the day before. Really, he'd messed around with the PDA he had been given and watched tv. Just then he was watching some show about two brothers fighting demons or something, he'd missed the title thanks to flipping to it five minutes in. The weird part was that one of the guys? Yeah, he looked a lot like Adam. Only with actual pigment to his skin and a few years older.

That was sort of boggling his mind a little. Okay, more than a little. He'd never seen the show before, but that could have been because it came on while he was at football practice or something, there was no telling. But as he watched the show (look-a-likes aside, it was pretty damn good) there was a slight frown tugging at the corners of his mouth.

How did that guy look so much like him, anyway?

Bright light. It had begun to shine fiercely before both he and Dean, each gripping at each other in horror, before leaping up and swallowing everything in the room of the church whole. The bodies of Lilith and Ruby, the bloody arc circling the floor, and most importantly, them. Sam and Dean. All consumed by white light. Then - just when Sam thought that everything was going to go black - the light faded and he found himself standing in the middle of a...a library?

He was in a library. And Dean, the only thing he had left in the world, was gone.

Everything else happened in a wild blur. He was rushed out into the streets, handed a PDA, and left to his own business. Business that included massive confusion, extreme panic attacks, and eventually, a glance at the object in his hands.

He...had a room. An apartment. It took a bit more wandering for Sam to reach the conclusion that he might as well take the next step by visiting it. Pocketing the PDA, Sam pushed the door open and began to move on inside.

Adam didn't look over when someone came into the apartment. He figured it was probably the guy that the PDA told him would be moving in there with him.

Well. Hope the guy didn't mind dead things. Oh, did Adam sound bitter about his death? Eh, oh well. Maybe he kinda was.

But instead of looking over he just kept his eyes on the tv, and couldn't help wondering why the name Sam Winchester they kept saying on the show sounded so familiar. "Hi." he said after a moment. Really, the only reason it took him that long was because that was how long it took for him to be able to say it. Stupid death. Great, now he was back around to that train of thought.
