She missed sleep. She really, really did. Not that she regretted having Luke, she really did adore her son more than anything, but she just would like sleep now and again. But Lily was good at going on little rest. Living through a war made that possible and she had clung to that skill recently but with little problem. If she began to feel tired she would find coffee or go outside, which she had chosen to do right now. Besides, Luke needed the fresh air after that rubbish with the locals kept him inside so often.

Though she did keep her wan very, very close.

She walked for about half an hour before finding a cafe and going in, finding a space big enough for the pram to not be in the way. Ordering the strongest coffee they had, she smiled at the waitress and checked on Luke. Fast asleep, as usual of course. She knew she should be taking this sort of opportunity to sleep but it was too late for that since she was already outside.

Even though things were a little crazy right now, with Castiel going off his rocker, and Dean informing her that Alistair had shown up, Jo had yet to strictly confine herself to the Roadhouse. She liked to get out every now then. Most importantly, she liked to get out and get coffee. Which was what she was doing now.

Jo had got her vanilla coffee with extra cream and sugar along with her English muffin, and was heading out the coffee shop. Then she noticed Lily with Luke in his pram. Though Jo wasn't what most people would call a girly-girl, she still couldn't resist an adorable baby. She stopped in front of Lily's table, smiling down at Luke.

"He's really cute," she said in a half-whisper, taking note of Luke's being asleep.

Lily looked away from the window when she noticed someone getting closer out of the corner of her eye. Putting her coffee down, she felt her hand wanting to drift to her wand just in case. She was very protective of Luke and could even be unwilling to let Sirius near the baby sometimes. She had a very strong motherly need to protect and she knew that would never go away. But she ignored that need and simply smiled.

"Thank you." Yes Lily thought so too, but many would say she was just biased. She hadn't known a mother to ever say their baby was anything but cute. Reaching in, she brushed a small tuft of hair back from his sleeping face, watching him squirm a little in his sleep.

"I would obviously have to agree with you," she said with a laugh, moving her hand away from Luke in favour of just looking at him.
