"We're both upset," Uhura said as she looked up at him, her eyes red but sign of tears left to speak of. "And you are upset even if you're trying your best not to show it. Tempers are bound to get the better of us at a time like this," She said quietly before offering him a very light smile. "No reason to dwell on it."
And with that, the matter was set aside. He'd made a mistake. She'd made a mistake. They'd apologized. And now it was over with. It was as simple as that to Nyota's mind. She could only hope that it was to his as well. She didn't really want to have to talk it to death like the adults tried to.
"I think we should go outside," Nyota said. "We don't know who could be in each of those rooms. At least outside if we happen to come across something dangerous, there's plenty of room to run."
