Spock realized that her theory was just as sound as his own and his already arched eyebrows rose even higher toward his hairline. He knew he shouldn't continue to be surprised at her obvious intelligence and maturity, yet he couldn't seem to help himself.
Nodding when she offered to reply to the summons on the message board, he began going through some of the older posts on the message boards. There were quite a few and he realized it was going to take some time to go through them all. He was all set to glance up and suggest they perhaps split the posts between themselves as it seemed the most logical course of action when one in particular caught his eye.
After a second, he glanced up at Nyota and this time didn't even try to hide his surprise. "It would appear that Starfleet is not the only ones present in this place," he stated in a somewhat wavering voice. "There are others here as well."
Turning the screen so she could see it, he added as he motioned to the post in question, "Including my mother."
