Being a mother was a little harder than Lily expected. Oh she knew about all the sleepless nights and the constant crying but she hadn't expected it to be as bad as it was for her now. She thought it would be a little easier, especially with so many people surrounding her to help. But Lily was a stubborn thing and if she was capable of doing it herself, she would, which probably annoyed everyone who wanted to help her out. And it definitely didn't help her feeling tired, but that didn't matter so much since she got through the war on little sleep to. Deciding to let James sleep, since he had been up to, she wrapped Luke up enough that he would be comfortable and placed him in his pram. She didn't feel the need to worry about her own looks, just shoving her hair up in a pony tail and putting one of Jame's jumper over her loose top and jeans.

The park had always been a nice place to go, especially since it wasn't all that far away from her plus they had the pond so near the house that she felt instantly drawn to it. Hopefully it would be quiet enough that she could keep walking and if Luke got hungry she could find somewhere not so out in the open to feed him. She knew some people felt uncomfortable with a woman breast feeding outside and although she thought that rather silly, she didn't want to put anyone in an uncomfortable position. But for now she kept walking.
