WHO: Peter Fleming & The Leverage Team
WHAT: Peter's finally found an in into Colligo Construction. Time to assemble the troops.
WHERE: 1214 Storage Road
WHEN: Thursday, August 4th; 8 PM
RATING: PG
STATUS: in Progress

It wasn't as though Peter wasn't used to conducting a great deal of business in warehouses in the seediest parts of town. Granted, most of the time that he'd been traipsing through the docks in Palm City, he'd mostly been along for the ride. Not to say that Peter was completely denying any direct involvement in Chess's actions, but he wasn't used to being fully aware of the environment in these kind of places. All the same, it was the perfect place in order to conduct business without having to worry about anyone overhearing them.

With his attention focused on the projection of his computer, Peter quietly shifted the moving pieces in play into the right configuration before settling back to wait for the audience that he was expecting. He knew that he was likely going to have to try rather hard to win those that weren't Parker over to this plan since they didn't know him and had absolutely no reason to trust that he was on the level.

But he hoped that whatever issues would crop up would be able to get passed quickly. They had work to do, after all, and it had taken him almost too long to figure out how to get them in to the company.

Parker made sure she was the first of her team to arrive. Normally she didn't really care about that sort of thing but considering neither Eliot nor Sophie knew Peter all that well, she figured it would probably be a good idea to get there before the others arrived. That way, if something happened to cause friction, she could do her best to defuse the situation. Or maybe watch and eat popcorn. Really, it just depended on her mood at the time.

Making her way into the building, Parker glanced around to make sure there weren't signs of anyone else laying in wait before making her way toward the man she was there to see. She'd already stashed her gear nearby, just in case, and there was a slight bounce in her step as she approached. Clearly she was excited to be doing something familiar again even if the man coming up with the plan wasn't Nate and Hardison wasn't there to be their hacker. At least Eliot and Sophie were involved, though. Honestly Parker wasn't sure she would even try to do something like this without them. It had been hard enough learning to work with a team in the first place and the only reason she was willing to give Peter the benefit of the doubt was because she'd been "married" to him long enough to know that he was far from normal himself.

"I love an abandoned warehouse at night," she commented as she tossed him a grin, hopping up on a pile of crates and swinging her legs much like a small child. "It's just so spooky."

Sophie wasn't in any real hurry, though she did want to make sure that she was punctual. She trusted Parker to know what she was doing. Just because they didn't have Nate or Hardison, didn't mean that they couldn't do this. In fact she had every belief that they could do this. Though it was true that she didn't know this Peter at all, it was more likely that Eliot was going to want to punch him than Sophie. But that was all par for the course.

It was a couple of minutes after Parker had arrived, and she could tell that at least two people were there already. Which was just fine, it meant that she wasn't the last to arrive. She approached carefully, but looking very much ready to get something done. "Parker," she greeted with a nod of her head and a smile. She turned to give this Peter guy a once over.

He could have been worse. "I suppose you must be Peter," she finally mentioned, sticking out her hand. "I'm Sophie."

Peter wasn't too surprised at Parker's entrance. He'd been around the young woman long enough to learn about and become familiar with her own particular brand of behavior and the quirkiness that came with it. Leave it to her to find an isolated and potentially dangerous part of town to be amusing in the grander scheme of things. Not that her observation was at all off the mark, of course. It was rather spooky, being in this much gaping space with little illumination and even less assurance that they weren't just going to be randomly mugged by someone passing. Not that Peter expected anything like that to happen, and even if it did... Well, they would end up regretting it.

"I certainly hope the ambiance won't detract from anything," Peter said, offering Parker an amused grin before his attention shifted to the other arrival. Taking the extended hand, Peter offered her a pleasant smile as he shook it, "I must be," He said before dropping the contact and glancing between the two women. "So. We're just waiting for one now, I believe, since my daughter is currently...indisposed," that sounded a lot better than miniaturized. "Do you think he would mind if we started the broad strokes before he arrived?"

Not that Peter wanted any one of them behind on this, but from what he knew of the crew Parker ran with that were here, the one they were missing wouldn't be immediately necessary. Not really. And whatever they'd covered by the time he showed, they could always go over again.
