Saying that Cloud was happy Tifa had arrived was overgeneralization. He was happy to see her--he always was--but the side of him that wanted to protect her and keep her safe wished she were still at home. It was a side he'd never been able to quiet, despite numerous reminders from Tifa and others that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. He was better about it, though. He didn't smother Tifa, and he didn't run away. He just ... glared. A lot. At bar patrons. Sure, he knew that being checked out by the customers was a hazard of the job when someone as beautiful as Tifa ran a place like 7th Heaven, but that didn't mean he had to like it.

There wouldn't be any glaring today. Cloud was too focused on getting to Tifa and getting her back to the apartment where they could talk in private. He wasn't sure if she'd come dressed for the weather, so he grabbed a jacket from the closet before he headed out the door. He had Fenrir parked just outside, waiting for his afternoon deliveries. Those deliveries would have to go on hold for now, something he really didn't mind. He slung a leg over the bike and started the engine. He'd be at the library in less than the promised five minutes if he drove like he usually did.
