New Friends in the Rain
WHO: Riku and Usagi (and possibly Claire)
WHAT: Riku meets up with Usagi to show her the new apartments
WHEN: Shortly after their PDA conversation
WHERE: In front of the Grand Library, to start

STATUS: In Progress

Riku made his way towards the library, huddled in his Organization XIII cloak to protect himself from the rain. Part of him wanted to continue looking for the source, but so far that hadn't accomplished anything and this at least would be helping somebody.

"Usagi?" Riku called as he entered the library. "Are you here?"

Usagi stood just by the door, arms wrapped around herself, and shivering just a bit. The guards had dropped her outside earlier regardless of the fact that is was pouring down rain, and she'd gotten drenched in a matter of seconds. It did not help her mood at all.

"Riku?" She stepped forward and offered a smile, resisting the urge to throw her arms around him in a big hug for offering to come help her out. "Is it always like that out there?" Usagi asked, not looking forward to being stuck in this place, especially if the weather was like that all the time. Not that she had much of a choice, it seemed.

	Riku reached into his coat and pulled out an umbrella. "Thought you might need this. As for the rain, it wasn't like this when I got here, but it came soon after that and hasn't let up. I spend most evenings looking for the source but haven't found anything yet." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Oh! Thank you!" There was no restraint this time. Riku was getting a hug whether he liked it or not. Usagi took the umbrella after releasing him, and made a face as she glanced back outside. Riku was taken back by the hug, but after dealing with Sora and Goofy and Mickey, he had gotten used to random invasion of his personal space.

"I got here close to two weeks ago. The rain came later. I actually hope it stays for the time being. Whatever is causing this storm isn't natural. If I can find the source, I might be able to figure out what brought us here, and what's stopping us from leaving."

"That's a great idea. It's too bad my friend Ami isn't here. She's got this little computer that could do that." Usagi commented, missing her friends. There was peace again, it wasn't something that lasted too long, and she didn't even get to spend that time with them.

"I could try and help you later, if you want." Usagi didn't like being on her own, certainly not in strange places. She'd be quick to jump at any chance to make friends. Especially if they were looking for a way home in the process.

	"All the more reason you shouldn't do it alone!" She was used to all that. Sounded like most of her battles against -- everything. It was a shame evil couldn't pick someplace warm and pretty to fight. "How were you looking for the source. Do you have something that like -- tells you when you're getting closer?" 	"Nothing quite that simple, I'm afraid," Riku shrugged. "I can detect magical energies and the powers of Dark and Light, but chances are it's not going to be any of those. "107A" She said, holding the umbrella over them as she pulled the number up on the PDA. Usagi wondered if this place was going to give her clothes as well as a room -- or would she have to buy them? She only had her allowance on her, but that was only enough to get maybe one outfit. The PDA thing said she had a 100 dollars to her name if she went to the bank too.

Aw man, would she have to get a job? Maybe she'll find a job at an arcade! Or a bakery!
