Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:adam young, anthony j. crowley, castiel (end!verse), crowley, dean winchester (end!verse), parker

Who: Fergus MacLeod Crowley, Anthony J Crowley, a bunch of NPC locals, and open to any who would be searching for the missing demons.
What: Demon trapping, for 500, Alex.
Where: An old cabin out by the lake
When: Tonight
Warnings: Demons are trapped!

It happened rather quickly, in the grand scheme of things. One moment he was sitting in his office, looking over the paperwork, the next minute he was standing in a very crude Devil's Trap. He laughed at the sight of it. "I haven't seen one of these for months!" he bellowed, for the benefit of whoever had summoned him. And then all at once, he realised he wasn't alone. He sighed, eyes rolled, lip curled up in a sneer. "You," he spat at his trap mate.

"Me," came the reply. The two of them, both named Crowley, stood face to face. "At least this answers the question of who has rights to the name." Amusement dripped off the words, and sparkled in his eyes. He took a step, intending to walk away, but found himself trapped. He frowned, and looked at his fellow demon prisoner.

"Shut it, you twat," Crowley replied. "It's a Devil's Trap. You can't walk out of it because you're a demon." Even if he was a fallen angel, apparently he wasn't too good for a Devil's Trap, which sort of made the other Crowley feel a little smug.

Whoever had summoned them had yet to reveal themselves, which Crowley thought was odd. He scratched at his jaw. He didn't feel inclined to share with the other demon the fact the fellow who had inherited his powers just a couple of weeks earlier had been summoned by a band of teenagers ill prepared to hold a demon. Either the punk ass kids had done their homework in the meantime, or they were dealing with someone or something else. Crowley wasn't sure which option he'd prefer.

"Seriously?" Crowley could have been responding to Crowley's statement, or he could have been referring to the trio of idiots in the doorway. The first thing both of the demons noticed was that one of them had his hand wrapped in gauze, and the stench of burnt flesh hovered around him. "This is not cool, gentlemen." Once Zira realised he was missing...there would be hell to pay. Literally. And that thought made Crowley smile just a little, which in turn made the other Crowley suspicious enough to smack him, and he had no choice then but to retaliate until the two of them were pushing the boundaries of the trap, and their hosts were clapping for their performance. That sobered them both up. They stood shoulder to shoulder, glaring at the three amigos.

"Now that you've got that out of your systems, shall we get down to business?" One of the three stepped forward, in front of the other two. He walked around the trap, in a rough circle. Both Crowleys watched him make his round.

The one with the burned hand spoke next. It wasn't hard to figure out he was the dumbest of the three. "How did we get two of them?"

"Beats the hell out of me, but we can work with it." The first spoke again, standing just outside the reach of the circle. "Welcome, gentlemen. We have a proposition for you..."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

There were close to a dozen teenaged boys in total. After a while, they all looked alike. The Crowleys ended up sitting back to back on the floor. The boys attempted to interrogate them, one after another. They made ridiculous demands, and then sulked off one after another.

Crowley noticed the other Crowley had stretched out his legs, and his foot crossed over the outside line of the trap. He sat up a little straighter, an eyed the circle. Sure enough, one of the bumbling idiots had smudged the line. The captives were rarely left alone, but it happened from time to time. He'd failed to mention that little detail to his trap mate, and the fallen angel clearly had no experience with Devil's Traps. And since it seemed the boys who were all full of themselves for capturing two demons had no idea the circle was broken, but they might notice if Crowley's feet stayed over the line.

Crowley stood, in hopes the other would take the hint and follow his lead. He did, without comment. Now all Crowley had to do was decide if he wanted to take on all the boys, or wait for the fumbling idiots to wander off.

Adam had remained at the Roadhouse, where he'd been when he'd first realized that something was amiss. There hadn't been any reason for him to participate in the physical searching of the area; there were plenty of others willing to do that bit. He simply had remained vigilant, waiting for any sort of sign that they'd been located. So when both of the demons went from untraceable to suddenly present once more, he wasn't quite sure just what he was going to find when he arrived at their location.

Getting there took less than a second. He simply decided that he was going to be at the cabin and, a heartbeat later, that's precisely where he was. He also realized within a nanosecond or so that he was not the only one present. Both Anthony J. Crowley and the demon formerly known as Fergus MacLeod were there, along with a handful of teenagers that Adam instantly realized were locals. There were only four or five but something told him that there had definitely been more before. Whether they had fled when the demons had gotten loose or whether the demons had waited for the herd to thin before busting out was anyone's guess and, frankly, Adam didn't particularly care at the moment.

He didn't speak. He simply willed the doors to the room shut and sealed, deciding they would only open to those who were there to help in the search and rescue. Not that there was any need for rescuing, it seemed. At least, not for the Crowleys. The jury was still very much out on the locals who hadn't' been fast enough to get away.

"Well, well, well," he finally drawled out lazily, although his tone held an undercurrent of raw fury that wouldn't be contained for much longer. "What have we here?"

Slowly he began to smirk in a way that left very little doubt as to his true parentage. It was cold, calculating, and was capable of making even the most steadfast demons shuffle in dread. And he was aiming it directly at a handful of teenagers who had bitten off far more than they could possibly hope to handle, crossing his arms over his chest for good measure. The decision of what would happen to them wasn't up to him, but his body language and expression left very little doubt as to where his vote would go if he was given a say in the matter.

"Well, well, took you long enough, dear boy." AJ Crowley spared a sneer for his former co-prisoner. He was under the impression they were still trapped in the Devil's Gate, Trap, whatever it was. He'd been meaning to ask Crowley how they could break out, but they were never alone long enough to have any sort of conversation, and he didn't want their captors to over hear.

Crowley returned the sneer with a deadpan look, and simply stepped over the lines of the trap. "Don't mind me, I wouldn't dare interrupt your little family reunion." Crowley waved a hand. "I'll just tend to our not so gracious hosts, then, shall I?"

He put a hand out to the nearest thug. All of the boys had recoiled in fear. Two of them tried frantically, and in vain, to open the doors. They were not going anywhere, until Adam allowed it.

The boy screamed, and then pleaded with Crowley not to hurt him. Crowley stared him down. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't rip your head from your filthy shoulders."

"Please..."

Crowley put his hand out, which thrust the boy up against the wall. He looked back at Adam and Crowley, almost as if looking for their approval.

Adam glanced briefly to AJ Crowley, shooting at grin at the demon that had been more of a father figure than his own father (both biological and adopted, in fact) had ever been. "I'd have been here sooner but it seems whatever all of," he waved his hand around the room dismissively, "this was managed to hide you both fairly well." As the other Crowley stepped out of the trap, he added, "Until now, that is."

His attention flickered briefly back to the teens, suddenly filled with a very odd sensation. After all, they were, technically speaking, human. Which meant they fell under his protection as he had laid claim to humanity long ago. But at the same time, they were locals. They were human and yet not. And they had managed to trap two very powerful demons. Clearly, they needed to be shown this was not a smart idea and certainly wasn't devoid of repercussions.

Or, at least, those who had escaped needed to be shown.

Unfortunately, Adam could not stand by idly why such things took place. If he did, he knew he risked becoming the very thing he had spent his life trying not to become. But that didn't mean he couldn't let it happen. After all, there were ways around every rule or belief, if you knew where to look.

So after meeting the other Crowley's gaze, he simply smirked slightly then gave a shrug of his shoulders. "You know, I do believe the humans have a saying that applies to this situation, at least in part." He paused and flashed the clearly terrified local as smirk.

"Don't play with fire if you don't wish to become burnt." He eyed the teen for a second, found positively no sympathy for him, then looked from one of the demons to the other. "And with that, I believe I'll take a few moments to step outside. I'm certain you can both work together just long enough to decide the fate of your captors, after all."

He paused then, head tilting to the side somewhat in thought. "Though, to make things very clear for all involved," he added, "from this point onward, neither of these demons are going to be trapped by that design or any other variation thereof I do hope I've made myself clear with this." With a wave of his hand, the deed was done.

And with that, Adam disappeared from the cabin, reappearing just past the door on the outside of the building. Leaning causally against the wall, he pulled out his PDA and began texting Jude while pointedly tuning out the sounds coming from within the cabin.

Parker managed to miss Adam by mere seconds. In fact, nearly the same instant that he popped out, she appeared in the cabin, flanked by both Cas and Dean. She was positively livid, far angrier than she could ever remember being since she was a small girl and dealing with an abusive foster father that liked to steal her stuffed bunny whenever he had the chance. And considering she'd blown up his house to get her stuffed animal back, it was really anyone's guess what she might be capable of in this situation.

As it stood, though, there wasn't much to do. Yes, one of the teens tried to flee as Crowley's focused was on one of the others, but Parker simply bunched up her fist and punched him directly in the nose just like she'd been taught to do. The satisfying crunch of a broken nose brought a small, humorless grin to her lips and she drew back, ready to punch the guy again. He stumbled away before she could take her next swing, clutching his nose and howling pitifully as blood became to all but pour from his nostrils, coating his hand and upper lip in a matter of seconds.

"That's for making me worry," she stated matter-of-factly, pointedly ignoring the pain in her hand, wrist, and forearm from the blow she'd delivered. When the teen stumbled forward, attempting to side-step her for the exit, Parker rolled her eyes and reached out, grabbing him by the throat. His eyes bugged and he began clawing at her hand as she forced him backward, into the wall behind him, and held him in position without ever letting up on her grip.

"Bad kidnapper," she admonished with a frown of disapproval, increasing the pressure just enough to really scare him. "No leaving." She then grinned in that slightly off-balanced way that only Parker could truly managed. Her eyes even managed to sparkle with faint amusement as she added, "Crowley didn't say so."

Crowley thrust his hand out, adding a little ump to Parker's grip. He was touched by her concern, but he wasn't going to let it show at the moment. "And what about you two clowns? You just going to stand there?" Crowley sneered at Cas and Dean, but it wasn't a malicious sneer. He didn't have quite the same relationship with them as he had with Parker, but he respected them, and he was fairly certain they respected him to a point. It was something of a mutual, working relationship.

He directed his attention back to the teen currently under his grip. After a moment, he released the boy and left him to drop to the ground as if he had no bones. He hadn't bothered to see what the other Crowley was up to, he didn't particularly care.

"If it's all the same to you, I'd like to take my leave of this place." He kicked the fallen teen for effect, the kid did not respond but the involuntary movement from the kick.

"For once we are agreed," AJ Crowley left the teen he'd been dealing with in much the same condition. It was impossible to say if the two were breathing or not. Neither demon took care enough to find out.

Dean moved to the door, and tugged it open. Only one teen remained mobile, and he was in a good bit of pain, thanks to Parker. Dean knew all too well how much a broken nose could hurt, but he wondered it if was really enough. Maybe seeing his two friends down for the count would send a greater message to him.
