Sirius hadn't expected to get any sleep after collecting Lily from the hospital, but he had hoped that perhaps he'd at least get to lie and pretend. But then his brother had texted him, and Sirius had sworn and rolled out of bed again (Still not waking Moony, who slept like someone had cracked him round the head with a beaters bat.) and pulled his jeans and jumper back on to pad up to the roof. It wasn't that he wasn't concerned for his brother - Regulus wasn't the type to want to talk unless there was something really bothering him, and for him to bug Sirius at a time like this, there had to be a reason. He just rather wished it had been another night. One when his nerves weren't already on end.
Sirius dragged himself up the stairs, finally reaching the roof and shouldering it open before stepping out into the cold night air. Sirius shivered, glancing around until he recognised his brother and moved to meet him. Regulus looked... well, agitated. Sirius could relate to that.
"Can I bum one?" he asked, sweeping his hair back and nodding towards the cigarette in his brothers hand. He was gasping for some nicotine.
