Who: Tosh & Ed
What: Actually talking for the first time
Where: Their apartment
When: Backdated to the day the sound came back.

Even though without the rift to stir up havoc, Torchwood still had their work cut out for them, which meant that despite the fact that they were trapped in some weird nexus of universes, they were still hard at work. Tosh in particular had been racking her brain in attempts to think of a way to get out of the place (and, for the last week or so, get the sound back, but that had resolved itself before she'd done anything of use), but she had yet to come up with anything. She had a good knowledge of the Rift manipulator, but wasn't convinced that it would be particularly helpful in their situation.

She'd managed to slip away from the rest of the team, however, in hopes of finally getting to meet her roommate properly. Though they'd been sharing the apartment for some time now, they'd never had a proper conversation, and if Tosh was anything, she was polite. Besides that, she knew the girl to be the technical type, and thought that maybe collaborating with somebody else might help to get her on the right track.

As she reached the apartment, she briefly considered knocking, but discarded the notion from her mind. She lived here just as much as the other girl did, so instead she simply walked inside. "Hello?" She asked as she dropped her things on the sideboard.

Bright red hair peeked from the doorway as Ed flashed a smile,"We have sound! Look out for the cords, this place decided to not bring my laptop along so Ed is rebuilding it!" as the piles of parts and a manual could be spotted on the table nearby. "We've been living together but no sound made things tricky so lets change that, I'm Ed" the younger woman somehow could keep smiling in spite of the weirdness, after all she had seen her share on the Bebop.

"Oh, alright," Tosh said, edging around the other girl's work and observing from a fair distance. "I had mine with me when I came through, but the screen broke when those knights threw me out of the library. Haven't gotten around to fixing it yet," She said, tilting her head to one side. "No money for parts."

"I'm Tosh," she said with a smile. She would have held her hand out for Ed to shake, but she was busying herself with her computer and she didn't feel the need to interrupt.
