WHO: Renesmee Cullen & OPEN
WHAT: Exploring the city.
WHEN: Mid-afternoon
WHERE: One of the main shopping districts, to start.
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Although Nessie had managed to settle into Colligo with relative ease when compared to some of the other new arrivals, she still wasn't happy about being stuck there. She wasn't used to being stuck in any one place for too terribly long. Her accelerated growing for the first seven years of her life had made that all but impossible, and for the last two, almost three, years she still hadn't quite put down roots much of anywhere. Her roots, she supposed, were with her family. They offered her stability and, while she was extremely grateful that at least one of them was present in the form of Jake, she still missed the others terribly.

Another issue with this place was money. Or, rather, a significant lack of any. After an entire lifetime with virtually unlimited funds, Nessie wasn't sure just what she was going to do now that she barely had any. A job was obviously going to have to be found, and the thought filled her with both dread and excitement. She'd never had a job before and always looked forward to anything new and unexplored. Finding one that would suit her, however, was going to be tricky at best.

Still, she currently had $100 to her name and she intended to save as much of it as she could until employment could be found. That didn't mean, however, that she wasn't above doing a bit of window shopping. Such things made her feel closer to her Aunt Rosalie - whom she was missing more and more with each passing day - and also helped lift her spirits. Not to mention it gave her a good chance to explore the city without seeming as though she were doing precisely that.

The most recent shop to have caught her eye boasted of comfortable, stylish clothing at a reasonable price. Personally, Nessie had yet to see much of anything that looked very comfortable and most definitely wasn't in style where she came from, but the prices were reasonable and she was almost considering purchasing a few items that were all but necessities. After all, she couldn't be expected to wear the same pair of shoes day in and day out, now could she?

Eying a pair of boots that looked somewhat comfortable and, as her advanced eyesight provided, were definitely cheap enough to fit within her budget, the young vampire-human hybrid was still debating the merits of actually going inside to purchase them when she very nearly stepped directly into someone. Always mindful of her own strength, not to mention having skin that was as hard as marble, Nessie stopped in her tracks and snapped her gaze to her near-victim. The umbrella she was holding to keep the downpour from soaking her to the bone lulled a bit from side to side as she met the person's gaze.

"I'm sorry," she apologized easily enough, a smile flickering across her features. "I guess I wasn't watching where I was going." She didn't add anymore, waiting until the person replied. If they turned out to be another one of the brainwashed idiots that seemed to be natives of this place, she was simply going to turn and walk the other way. If they were brought here without rhyme, reason, or permission just as she'd been, however, she could perhaps make an effort to speak with them in the hopes of gathering some more information in search of anything that might give her an idea on how to get back home.
