WHO: Anthea
WHAT: Making her way to the Roadhouse.
WHEN: Right after this.
WHERE: The streets of Colligo → Harvelle's Roadhouse.
RATING: PG(ish) [mentions of npc death and mild gore]
STATUS: Complete/Closed [unless someone wants to join]

Anthea wasn't sure if she thought the girl on the message board was full of shit or not. However even if she did think she might be a bit full of herself, Anthea most definitely wasn't idiotic enough not to jump at a chance to get on the same page with everyone else. Organization was key in situations like this. Not that Anthea had much experience with zombies – and by 'not much', she actually meant 'absolutely zero' – but in any other situation where people were being threatened in general, it was always a good idea to know what was going on and how to best help.

So she decided to make her way to the Roadhouse. A quick search on her PDA provided an address, along with a map to follow, and after double-checking that she had a few extra clips for her gun, she was all set. Moving swiftly, without running so as not to attract extra attention to herself, Anthea held her gun in one hand and her PDA in the other. Her gaze remained almost steadily on the screen; mind all but absorbing any information she could glean from the others who were posting on the message board.

If she were back home, she would have Mycroft's instructions to help guide her. She wouldn't really need to look to anyone else, except possibly to gather things to take back to her boss. Mycroft, however, had yet to arrive in the city of Colligo and Anthea wasn't sure if he ever would. That meant she needed to keep her eye on those around her so she would still be in the loop in some discernible way.

The sound of a low grunt from somewhere distantly behind her made the woman's attention snap back to the present. Quickly she turn, arm jumping up and finger pulling the trigger of her rapidly aimed gun before she'd even looked up from the message board. There was another grunt, this one muffled, then a loud thump as someone heavy collapsed to the ground. A few steps closer, gun still aimed, and Anthea fired another shot directly into the zombie's head.

Only then did she look up from what she was doing, giving the creature a quick once-over before slowly looking at the little girl the zombie had been chasing to begin with. Dark eyes swept over the trembling child's form before she finally spoke.

"Go home. Stay there."

She didn't wait to see if the girl listened. She simply looked back to her PDA and kept making her way toward her destination. Not a hair was out of place and there still wasn't much spring in her step. She certainly didn't look as though she was in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. But, then again, everyone was good at something and staying calm even under the craziest of conditions was one of Anthea's specialities.

Yet even with that knowledge secure in her mind, she still found herself wishing Mycroft was there. If only so she didn't feel as though she was the only person in the city that hadn't gone at least a little mad from this zombie stuff already.
