WHO: Azazel and Parker
WHAT: There is absolutely no telling.
WHEN: Late night
WHERE: Crowley's Casino
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Even though Parker had been ordered off the floor until the sudden bouts of honesty had ended, she still couldn't bring herself to actually leave the casino. It was safe for her there, in a great many ways that the rest of the city just plain wasn't. She knew the ductwork as well as she knew the laser pattern at the Louvre, and she had several spots where she could perch on a beam and observe the crowd below without ever being seen. Up there, no one could ask her any questions. She didn't have to worry about accidentally blurting out how much she made or what she did or anything else. She could just sit, and watch, and relax.

Of course, she had to come down some time. The easiest way being simply jumping off the beam and rappelling down, but also proving the most likely to earn attention. The more annoying way, as it wasn't really difficult, was to go through the ventilation system. Not as much fun, certainly, but she could often find an empty corridor to step out into. Typically one near Crowley's office as it was the lowest traffic area in the entire building.

Deciding to be stealthy rather than a risk-taker for the moment, Parker opted for the second route. She wound up at a vent near the office, as she'd planned, and pushed it out and open. Shimming out on her stomach, she inched forward until her palms were flat on the ground with her legs still tucked inside the vent. Facing the wall, she kicked her feet over her head and went into a backbend. Straightening, she took a step forward then went still as she realized she wasn't alone. One quick glance and she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Whew," she said with an impish grin at Azazel. Absently she re-tightened her ponytail. "For a second I thought you were a local. That would have been bad," she tacked on with a nod.

After learning of the casino, naturally Azazel had an interest in seeing it - after all, he did have some stake in what Crowley did in Colligo. His reputation could be inversely affected by any activities that were headed by the other demon, so he made his way there to take a gander. He hadn't been lying to God when he said that he didn't necessarily want to kill the Winchesters (though he would be far from displeased if that did happen, of course), but he did have an interest in creating some, as a few others put it, entertainment. And where else to go first then a hole filled with people driven by guild and sin, desiring (and allowing themselves) to be tempted.

He moved through the Casino nearly like a shadow; he could blend in when he wished it, not draw attention to himself; there were times when he preferred behind the scenes work. For now, his pale yellow gaze took in the various gamblers and, more interestingly, the employees, many of whom were 'displaced'. Passing near one waitress, he could almost smell the child growing inside her, and smiled to himself, filing the information away in his mind. After wandering for about twenty minutes, he headed for the offices to seek out Crowley.

Just as he was about to step into his 'office', he caught a sound coming from behind him, and turned. The vent on the wall was being pushed out, and he paused to lean against the doorframe and watch with interest as an exceptionally skinny, tall, blond woman shimmied her way out and stood.

"Would it now? Do they not approve of young women traveling through airvents?" He smiled in a friendly manner. "You must be the delightfully spunky Parker I spoke to upon my arrival."

Parker gave a nod of her head. "Yep," she replied simply, "that's me." Turning back toward the vent, she reached inside and hauled out a black knapsack. She tossed it over one shoulder and slid the grating back in place before looking back to the demon across from her. The urge to answer his question was one she couldn't ignore, no matter how hard she tried.

"I don't know if they approve or not. I don't really care. But if they see me coming out a vent, they might ask questions. Questions about why I'm traveling through vents and what I'm doing in the casino. Questions that I'll have to answer that would make my job pretty tough once this is all over." She shook her head and gave a faint shudder before her expression immediately shifted to completely neutral.

"It's different with non-locals. Pretty much everybody here knows I'm a thief. But the automatons don't have a clue." She shrugged again, just the shoulder with the knapsack slung over it.

"So," she tilted her head to the side a bit and shot him an impish sort of grin. "Anybody try to kill you yet for being super creepy?"
