WHO: Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin
WHAT: A meeting up and exploration of their strange, new surroundings.
WHEN: Not long after this.
WHERE: The bus station (formerly the Grand Library) → wherever their feet take them.
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
Although this place was admittedly strange and quite different, as well as a bit frightening, Rowena found herself far less tense than she would have suspected. She supposed part of that was due to Salazar's presence and part was due to the bits of her that were always eager to learn new things and expand her own horizons, so to speak. Whatever the true reason, however, she wasn't nearly as wary as she'd first felt upon arrival. Nor was she wasting any time in arriving at the location she and Salazar had agreed upon. Of course, the fact that they were both still at the... wherever they had ended up, helped. Never mind the crowds and the strange forms of transportation that were wholly foreign to her. The knowledge that she was not alone in this bizarre, new land posed as quite a comfort to her.
Making her way through the handful of people who were gathered about, Rowena did her best to ignore the strange attire and muttered comments that made her want to turn and hex the person on sight. The fact that they appeared to be non-magical in nature stayed her wand, although she couldn't resist a warning glance at a handful who apparently thought the best way to attract a woman was to make lewd comments that were wholly uncalled for and utterly vile in nature. Finally, her perseverance and ability to tune out those who annoyed her (a skill she had far from mastered but was giving her best effort toward) and she found herself at the spot where she and Salazar had agreed to meet.
With her cloak still firmly over her head and her chin raised just high enough to signify her own pride at being, simply, who she was, Rowena glanced around in search of one of the three human beings that she trusted explicitly. He said he'd be there shortly. She was certain he'd arrive just as he'd assured her. However as the seconds ticked by - seeming far more like hours in her own mind - Rowena found herself growing concerned. Salazar would not not arrive, of course, but what if something had kept him? What if he'd discovered whoever was responsible and decided to deal with them without her by his side?
Trying her best not to appear as out of place as she felt, as well as not give away the worry she did feel at the situation, she glanced around once more before turning her attention to the metal monstrosity that loomed a few scant feet away. Idly she wondered why anyone would willingly venture inside of the metallic beast lest it offered something so wondrous that even those with a sharp mind would be unable to resist. Personally, Rowena doubted it and purposefully turned her attention away from the sight and once more searched the crowd for Salazar.
