Marian still didn't like not working even if Robin insisted it wasn't something she had to do. She just wanted to have something to keep her going, though she would admit that not having to work during this hear could almost be seen as a blessing. At least she wouldn't be kept inside and she could try and find various ways to keep cool throughout the day. Now her option had been to wait in line for ice cream and walk through the park, even if the ice cream started melting extremely quickly.

Running her finger along some of the melted ice cream running down her hand, she stuck the digit in her mouth to wipe away the cream. Eventually she found a bench near the lake, a tree providing a small amount of shade. At least it was enough to keep her relatively cool in this heat. Looking around, she continued to eat her ice cream as she looked around, slightly annoyed that the coolness it provided would very soon be gone.
