The last time Parker had been in Colligo, it hadn't been half this exciting. Granted, the last time she'd been in Colligo, there hadn't been actual real pirates either. Considering she was a thief by nature and trade, she had always had a fondness for pirates. After all, they were some of the most famous thieves in history and, as far back as she could remember, she had always thought that it would have been so cool to have been around in their time. Now that she was? She planned on enjoying every second of it.
The only problem was, given the townsfolk status to flee for their lives at the sight of anyone who might even remotely resemble a pirate, Parker all too soon found herself rather bored. It was too easy to steal from someone who dropped their things and ran. Not that most thefts she was involved in were all that hard, but this was just ridiculous.
So she decided to wander. To see if there was anything else that might pose at least part of a challenge for her. She was just about to give up and find the nearest tavern when she spotted it. A ship, just sitting in port, and with only a dozen or so men guarding it. The flags weren't that of a pirate vessel but were instead quite obviously meant to be militaristic in some form or fashion. Slowly, a smile began to steal across the blond's face as a plan began to form.
"Jackpot," she murmured as she cut around a crowd of rowdy men half a step away from brawling on the edge of the docks. She was almost around them when one of them made the mistake of slapping her on the ass. And calling her a wench, of all things.
Instantly she stilled, back going ramrod straight and eyes widening. Then her eyes narrowed, her hands clenched into fists, and with no further adieu she spun on her heel and promptly punched the offender directly on his nose. He stumbled back, then down, and Parker wasted no time in doing a flying tackle on top of him. Already her plan had shifted but was still rather clear in her own mind.
Beat the man senseless, possibly his buddies too, then steal that ship. A grin that in no way belonged to that of a full grown woman crossed her lips as she hefted herself off the now unconscious man and turned her gaze to his friends who were milling about and seemingly unsure how to handle a woman who actually fought back. This, she decided as she tossed herself at the first one who stepped forward and made a threatening gesture, might actually turn out to be just as much fun as she'd originally thought.
