WHO: Parker and OPEN TO ANY/ALL
WHAT: The thief's re-arrival in Colligo.
WHEN: Afternoon; around 4PM
WHERE: The library → through the former downtown district → the docks beside the newly formed ocean.
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

The last time Parker had been in Colligo, it hadn't been half this exciting. Granted, the last time she'd been in Colligo, there hadn't been actual real pirates either. Considering she was a thief by nature and trade, she had always had a fondness for pirates. After all, they were some of the most famous thieves in history and, as far back as she could remember, she had always thought that it would have been so cool to have been around in their time. Now that she was? She planned on enjoying every second of it.

The only problem was, given the townsfolk status to flee for their lives at the sight of anyone who might even remotely resemble a pirate, Parker all too soon found herself rather bored. It was too easy to steal from someone who dropped their things and ran. Not that most thefts she was involved in were all that hard, but this was just ridiculous.

So she decided to wander. To see if there was anything else that might pose at least part of a challenge for her. She was just about to give up and find the nearest tavern when she spotted it. A ship, just sitting in port, and with only a dozen or so men guarding it. The flags weren't that of a pirate vessel but were instead quite obviously meant to be militaristic in some form or fashion. Slowly, a smile began to steal across the blond's face as a plan began to form.

"Jackpot," she murmured as she cut around a crowd of rowdy men half a step away from brawling on the edge of the docks. She was almost around them when one of them made the mistake of slapping her on the ass. And calling her a wench, of all things.

Instantly she stilled, back going ramrod straight and eyes widening. Then her eyes narrowed, her hands clenched into fists, and with no further adieu she spun on her heel and promptly punched the offender directly on his nose. He stumbled back, then down, and Parker wasted no time in doing a flying tackle on top of him. Already her plan had shifted but was still rather clear in her own mind.

Beat the man senseless, possibly his buddies too, then steal that ship. A grin that in no way belonged to that of a full grown woman crossed her lips as she hefted herself off the now unconscious man and turned her gaze to his friends who were milling about and seemingly unsure how to handle a woman who actually fought back. This, she decided as she tossed herself at the first one who stepped forward and made a threatening gesture, might actually turn out to be just as much fun as she'd originally thought.

Murphy had decided that he needed to go out of the crowded bar for a smoke. Half stumbling into the streets he noticed commotion coming from the other side of the street. He paused for a moment watching what seemed to be a woman taking on an entire group of men. After a couple moments he noticed she had resurfaced and was going for round 2. "Oi, you there woman." He strode closer looking at the job she did on the others.

"Fucking brilliant!" He smirked to show that he wasn't starting anything with her. Reaching into his trench coat he pulled out a solid black baretta 9mm with a suppressor stuck on the end. Without a second thought he quickly tossed it her way as he turned his side towards her facing a few of the guys.

Parker's gaze barely flickered to the man who had addressed her as 'woman', of all things. Her forehead furrowed as he tossed something at her and, out of instinct, she reached up and caught it. It wasn't until she had it in her hand that she realized what she was holding.

A gun. It was a gun. A really nice gun, but still. A gun. Nobody gave her guns. Nobody wanted her to have a gun. Parker wasn't even sure she wanted to have a gun. Not that she thought she was crazy like everyone else seemed to think, but she certainly didn't make a habit of carrying guns around. And she wasn't about to use one on some guys that had done nothing but slap her. Now maybe if they'd taken her money, it'd be a different story...

Snapping herself out of her thoughts, she gave a shrug and smoothly flipped the gun around. Holding it by the barrel, she struck out with it like a hammer and managed to crack one of the men in the bridge of his nose. There was a sound of crunching bone and he went down with a howl of pain. Pressing her foot into the small of his back, she leapt into the air, flipped once, and landed smoothly behind one of the other men. Before he could turn around, she hit him with the handle of the gun across the back of his head.

He went down like a ton of bricks, out cold, and she quickly glanced around for anymore threats. Well, except for maybe the man who had given her the gun in the first place. Just to be on the safe side, she spun the gun back around, gripped the handle, and aimed it at him with a wary look on her face.

"Who are you and why are you handing out firearms? That's dangerous," she stated in tone that clearly sounded as though she was explaining something not many other people knew.

Murphy paused with his gun aimed at the guys on the other side of him. Watching her he bit his lip trying to figure out why she wasn't using the gun.

The look she had given him made him feel like he should have thought twice at least this time. The sounds of bones crunching amused him and as the last body went down he realized something had gone wrong.

Facing the gun he slid his back into his coat and leveled up to her. "Look now, I was just trying to help ya, I don't want no trouble." He backed up a little trying to coax her to hand him the gun or at the very least drop it. "I just thought I ought to help a pretty thing like you out. Although obviously you didn't need any." He had stopped backing out and reached out slowly for the gun. "What in the hell were you trying to do anyway?"
