Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:abigail whistler, leah clearwater

Who: Abigail and Leah, CLOSED
When: Sunday
Where: Outside the Library of doom
What: Abigail's arrival, lots of questions, etc.
Status/Rating: Incomplete/PG-13 (for Abby's mouth)

To say that Abby was a little disoriented was an understatement. What she remembered was being picked up after a mission, she had been sitting in the back, leaned against the door with her tunes still blasting in her ears and she had fallen asleep. When she woke up she was in a library.

A library. Abby didn't do libraries.

What she also didn't do were suits of armor manhandling her out of said library.

So she was sitting on the steps, figuring out the PDA that had been tossed at her and updating all her information to it via her precious laptop she had found by her side. Only nothing worked correctly. She couldn't call out to her usual pals. So she was alone in a weird city. Abby picked up her things, putting her laptop back in her bag along with her PDA. She put the strap over her shoulder, still keeping her guns and bows within easy reach.

Abby was going to have to start walking and figuring things out on her own if no one answered her post to the strange forum of the city, or if she didn't see anyone out and about. Then again, who would freely walk up to someone as heavily armed as one Abigail Whistler? She heaved a sigh, and scanned her surroundings. Spotting someone, she strode over to them, checked her walk and tried to make herself not look so...threatening. She even put on a smile and took off her sunglasses, "Hi...um...I'm new..." just fell into a library and all that and I have no idea who to ask to kill for putting me in the library, yeah say that Abigail and you'll be carted off to the mental asylum, "and I have no clue where I'm at. Could you help me?"

Leah had been walking back to the apartments from work at Claire's video stor. It hadn't been a very good day, and another customer had decided that she was just an object to stare at and annoy with constant flirting. The only thing that saved her from beating him up was the fact that he didn't physically touch her. If he had, she would have gone with the wolf instinct, and attacked. She had been wearing her loose fitting, guy style pair of jeans and the t-shirt required for work, but that was just her style, staying grundge all the time.

She was just passing the street the library was on when she caught the unfamiliar scent. She didn't know the person, but knew the scent was human, and female. She heard the words and her thoughts were confirmed that this person was indeed new. Then as she turned, she saw a woman, clearly ready for battle with as many weapons she was carrying in view. She couldn't help but crack a smile. "Where were you when you got here? Marching into battle with some crazy ass monster?"

She knew a lot of people who arrived here had some sort of supernatural background, but she still wasn't comfortable with them knowing about her, unless they were wolves themselves. Her words could have also been seen as a joke to any remotely normal human as well. Leah didn't need weapons to fight, only her strength, speed, and if she got increasingly angry, her wolf teeth when she phased. She did, however, have to give enough credit to this woman who seemed armed enough to be prepared for anything.

At least the first person she saw seemed sane. Of course she would be asked about her weapons. That was only natural. Abby would have to start worrying if she hadn't been asked about her weapons. If everyone walked around this heavily armed all the time then it was cause to worry. Abby rubbed the back of her neck and made a small sheepish noise in the back of her throat, "Ah, yeah I guess you could say that. We've got a lot of big...bad people where I come from."

She lifted a shoulder and dropped her hand, "I'm Abby Whistler." The dropped hand extended for a hand shake. Course this place looked like it was in America. Then again the world was going all kinds of global and Turkey had buildings that you could find in New York. She ran her eyes over the other a moment, just a natural check on if the girl had any weapons. Abby gave a small grin, "Where are we?"

Course Abby had a million other questions to ask, but she wasn't about to bombard the first person she met with all of them at once. Where was the rest of her crew? How did they get her from the truck to the library without her waking up? Something was up, something that Abby just didn't like. The hairs on the back of her neck were standing up and that meant that it wasn't good.
