WHO: Marian and Open (anyone she hasn't met yet? she needs new friends :D)
WHERE: The Forest
WHAT: Taking a walk through the woods, maybe practicing her fighting skills
WHEN: Wednesday, Early Morning
Rating: TBD

Marian had snuck out of the house that morning, trying to keep Robin asleep as she left. She wanted to go for a walk through the thick forest, and also she felt she needed to practice her fighting skills a bit because she hadn't done so in a while and she did not want to lose those skills. She would never know if she needed them here. Since she had found out that Robin was there also, she had had a wonderful time spending most of her time with him, marrying him, and sleeping beside him. Guy had arrived earlier in the week and he had assumed that she should have been dead, just as Robin had, and now she wasn't sure how to keep the two of them apart for fear they would kill each other.

She started practicing her sword skills against a tree, and wasn't paying attention to anything else around her. She would not have noticed if someone were to come across her there. She sometimes got carried away in her training. There were so many things she thought about when she was training, and what was going on around her, was not one of them.

Vivian had slept out in the woods the night before. She had been running in her wolf form all night and had been so exhausted and happy that she had simply curled up in a pile of brush and slept. She found her dress the next morning, the annoying dress with twice as much fabric as she was used to, and managed to get back into it. If one were to look closely enough, there was still dirt under her fingernails, a small smudge on her cheek, and a stray leaf in her hair which hung wild around her shoulders. She was planning to clean up when she got back to the village, hopefully before too many people woke up, when she heard noises.

She smelled the other woman before she saw her. At first, she was going to just sneak around and leave, not bothering her, but when she noticed the sword, Vivian found herself suddenly feeling cold. How much did she know? This whole place made her think of the dark times her pack had faced when people were superstitious enough to believe in werewolves and would hunt them down with silver and fire. She needed to know if this woman was simply playing around with her sword or if she knew something. If there was going to be danger here for her and the other wolves, it needed to be taken care of.

"Good morning," Vivian offered cheerfully, stepping closer to the other woman, but still easily out of striking distance, just in case.

Marian spun around, sword in hand, when she heard the greeting. She had been so lost in her thoughts, she hadn't heard the woman approaching. She quickly lowered her sword though, when she recognized the woman from around the town. "I'm sorry, I was just practicing."

Then she composed herself and propped the sword against the tree she had been training on. She would be able to grab it quickly if she needed to, but that was more about being prepared than suspicion. "Good morning. I did not expect to see anyone out here."

Vivian felt fairly confident that the woman had been honestly surprised to find someone else out in the woods, so she felt much better. In this time, she just felt more threatened by the superstitious villagers she found herself surrounded by. She had just barely kept herself from lunging when the woman turned on her with her sword. Instead, she smiled at the other woman and shrugged her shoulders, as if the fact that they had run into each other was completely random.

"I was just out for a walk. I didn't sleep well last night." It seemed like a perfectly reasonable explanation. Why else should someone be wandering around this early in the morning? "I didn't expect to run into anyone either."

(ooc: Sorry it took so long. RL went crazy.. then the last one I tried, the internet ate.)

Marian nodded at the woman's shrug, believing that they had purely come across each other by coincidence. She had no reason to think that someone would be following her to harm her in this place. That had been the case where she came from. She had stayed in the danger of the castle to get Robin the information he needed.

"That is quite understandable. If you are used to the more modern beds of the other time, then these would be quite hard for you." Then she looked back at the sword she had propped up on the tree, and then back at the woman. "I was only training because it has been a while, and I do not want to lose the skills. Though my husband would not agree." Robin had been trying to keep her from any danger whatsoever since he had told her what happened to her, but she couldn't stay like that forever. She would have to fix that soon.
