WHO: Noah Bennet and Parker
WHAT: Decorating their Christmas tree.
WHEN: Early evening
WHERE: Their apartment, obviously.
RATING: TBD (doubt it'll be too high though)
STATUS: In Progress

Parker had never really been one to celebrate Christmas. Between having a less than stellar home life as a small child, to joining the circus by the tender age of ten, to becoming a professional thief who was a loner by nature, she had never put much stock in a holiday that promoted giving instead of receiving and spending time with loved ones. In fact, aside from one Christmas spent with the circus as a little girl where she had developed a near hero-worship of Santa Claus, she was pretty sure she'd never celebrated the holiday in any significant fashion.

Which meant that, while she was looking forward to celebrating Christmas in Colligo with Noah, she was also completely baffled as to the purpose of most of the things that people did for said celebration. Like decorating a tree, for example. It was a tree. It was a pointless, worthless, not nearly worth the money that people wanted to charge for it, tree.

It helped that Noah hadn't made her buy most of the decorations that were meant to adorn it, as someone else might. It also helped that quite a few of their 'ornaments' would probably be pretty bizarre to those who didn't know them. But she was still confused and, as she stood in the living room and stared at the small pine that was now standing there, she couldn't help but comment on just how strange she found the entire thing thus far.

"I don't get it. Does Santa not like trees? Is that why he makes us sacrifice one before he'll give us things?"
