The exchange of personal information was certainly an interesting experience for Seven, and she found that some part of her was almost enjoying it. Granted she had very little else to add to the subject at hand as she'd already covered everything she knew about her parents and certainly had never destroyed any of their property in an effort to keep others from having access to it. Yet she also knew that wasn't the point. The point was, she'd done what the Doctor had always assured her would happen if she put effort into such a conversation.
She'd made a connection with someone. A slightly bizarre, extremely dysfunctional by typical standards connection, but a connection just the same. The Doctor would have insisted that this was 'wonderful progress'.
Seven wasn't sure just how much progress it was, but it was certainly intriguing. Especially seeing a side to the Captain she was now serving that she hadn't seen before.
Her eyebrow arched a bit at his tale and she replied, "An effective means of ensuring the situation concluded in your favor. Impressive, for a mind so young." She might have said more but the low beep of the computer from the spare bedroom caused her to glance in that direction. Her gaze moved back to Jim after a second's pause. "It would appear the computer has finished its most recent analysis. I must ascertain the results were accurate."
Turning, she started to make her way to the room that she'd put the most effort into thus far when she stopped. Half-looking back at Jim, she added, "You... are welcome to join me, should you so desire."
