Although he couldn't see her, Seven gave a slight incline of her head at his words. Sympathy was a concept that was difficult for her to grasp, yet in this instance she felt at least something for the man who was so clearly emotional over the situation at hand. Ever the one to put the most rational response first, though, she didn't offer words of condolences. Instead she simply went into the kitchen and returned a few moments later with two items in her hand.
"You are both emotionally and physically distraught. You will consume these," she stated, holding out a bottle of water as well as three small, white pills that had been in a bottle in the bathroom when she'd arrived.
"They are a mild analgesic. Pain relievers, I believe the bottle describes," she explained. "Archaic and not as effective as a simple injection of the necessary vitamins, but they will be sufficient." A brief pause and she added, for good measure, "If you do not comply I will be left with no choice but to inform Doctor McCoy of your whereabouts so he may administer proper treatment as your physician."
Assuming he would do as she strongly suggested, she next stated, "I also fail to see why your father's heroic actions would cause you to feel anything but pride."
