Even though things had definitely changed between them, Heather didn't really feel much different, except for her sudden desire not to just look at his amazing lips, but to feel them on her own, too. Things were still comfortable, she still felt like she could be herself around him, and that kind of surprised her. Didn't people usually really freak out when they had conversations about kissing and all that? Well, Heather wasn't going to complain if that wasn't the case, not at all.
She ordered herself an apple beer as well -- she'd honestly never heard of it before but she was curious, and if it had the word 'beer' in it it was okay by her -- and then turned back to Cassidy when the waitress left. "It's okay," she told him just as gently. "I'm not mad about that. I was just...worried." She shrugged briefly, not wanting to make a big deal out of just how upset she'd been when he never came back to their room. "But you think you'd ruin things? Cassidy, that's like...not even possible, you know? And I'm not just saying that because I want you to kiss me, I mean it even if nothing like that ever happened between us."
