"Conversations that are usually followed by introductions." They'd gotten it the other way around, but that was perfectly fine by Tara. It was a relief that he wasn't some big ole jerk, that would have just been an unpleasent continuation of the day.
However, introductions had mostly proved unnecessary, at least on her part. And now she knew his name. And a little more on where he'd seen her around.
"Headaches that I thought were worth it, if I remember right. But what do I know? That's probably my secret sadist side talking." Tara nodded slightly at his explanation, clearly fascinated. "That's pretty ... wow. Everything about it, it'd be better if you remembered than being stuck with that vague yesteryear feeling but I still think that's pretty cool. I guess that means that I have some catching up to do?" She left the sentence vague and turning it into a question. It was just that, he'd been a Scooby in another dimension, so it was sort of like meeting a distant cousin you'd never known about, but just because they were distant didn't mean there couldn't be some connection. And maybe she wasn't making any sense, because she was slightly running in loops in her own head. "I mean," She explained. "You already have a headstart, even if it's just a small one, I should probably catch up. If-If, you want that is." Because maybe he didn't want to remember that time, or maybe he just hadn't liked her. Though she was certain if either was the case he wouldn't be mentioning it and wouldn't be mentioning it to her.
It just felt like the right thing to say. The nice thing to say but also the right one. She remembered that both Buffy and Andrew seemed to like him, and even concerned in Buffy's case. While she didn't know Andrew that well, Tara trusted Buffy. And well, once a Scoob always a Scoob, was how she saw it.
