Who: The Graverobber (Open!)
What: Arriving
When: Late night
Where: Outside the library
Warnings: None yet

The Graverobber had just been dumped unceremoniously on the steps of a curious library by two walking suits of armor. While some people might have found this strange or even disturbing, he found it fascinating. Still, he muttered a few choice curses under his breath as he stood up, brushing the dirt from the back of his long brown leather duster. Then he gathered his tool kit and the phone that the suits of armor had given him off the ground, sticking the phone in his pocket. Currently he felt he had no use for it, but it would most likely come in handy later.

That was when he really took notice of his surroundings. The city was cleaner than he was used to back home. No alarms had gone off yet, announcing the presence of someone outside after curfew. No henchgirls or repo men were surrounding him. No helicopters swirling overhead. But the people. Yes, the people were the same. He could feel it already. True, he had no idea where (or when, for that matter) he was, but that was alright. He was comfortable no matter what. Though he did wonder what would become of Shiloh without him there. She'd be alright, of that he was certain, but he had been planning on at least watching her.

The people, though. The people were just the same. He could practically smell the sin. The corner of his lips, colored with black makeup, quirked up in an almost evil grin. He would have no problem selling his products here. And with no signs, yet at least, of repo men, he could probably do so without as much hassling as he was used to. He still had a good supply of Zydrate left. Yes, maybe it was time to find some new customers.

Heather was no longer allowing her fear of the world outside having been transformed into Silent Hill to keep her indoors. With Alessa inside of her, telling her that she should feel proud of the monsters and the chaos rather than afraid of them, it wasn't a hard decision to make. She even did so a little smugly.

She was walking leisurely along when a man was tossed out of the library. Heather had never witnessed someone's arrival before, so she stopped out of curiosity. The monsters nearby also stopped, but Heather knew only she could see them.

"Welcome to Colligo," she announced with a lopsided grin.

Well that was convenient. "A welcoming committee," he said calmly, turning slowly to look at the girl that was approaching him. Considering his tone, it could have easily been either a statement or a question, and judging by the look on his face, he wasn't going to divulge which.

He appraised the girl in front of him. Young, pretty, troubled. He gave her a look that might have said he knew all of her secrets. He didn't yet, but it wouldn't take long. He was good at finding things out, whether people wanted him to or not.

Colligo. He hadn't heard of it before, but that was fine. One place was as good as another. "What's your name, kid?"

Heather smirked and shrugged her shoulders. "I can be a good Samaritan sometimes." Really, it was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time, but she wasn't going to say that. She hadn't been socializing much lately, for obvious reasons. Maybe she was just starved for interaction.

"Heather. Got kinda cozy here, even though I'm sure it seems impossible with the iron-clad welcoming party you had in there. It's not so bad."

"It doesn't seem bad," Graverobber commented simply, making no attempt to introduce himself or acknowledge that Heather had introduced herself, though of course he filed that information away. He never forgot a name or a face.

"And I've had worse than those walking tin cans. They were practically a skip through the tulips." He grinned again and shrugged his shoulders, clasping his hands behind his back.

So he wasn't someone who was going to stand around freaking out about being somewhere that was most definitely not home. That was good. Heather didn't think she could deal with that right then and there. She would have pointed him off in the direction of the housing buildings, and...that would have been pretty much it. But he seemed calm, and considering the fact that Heather was merely calm on the surface, that was definitely nothing to complain about.

"Well, that's good. You'll be just fine here...whoever you are." She glanced around for a brief moment, then looked back to him expectantly. Just because she was standing around as leisurely as could be, she was starting to get a little panicky inside. Alessa's voice wasn't quite as loud as it had been in her head when she first stepped outside, and instead of looking around at the fog and the decay and the monsters with a bit of smugness, she was starting to even wonder why the hell she'd left her and Cassidy's room.

He could sense that the girl was somewhat uneasy or troubled. He wasn't sure why, but the nerves were definitely there, vibrating underneath her calm exterior. A part of him felt sorry for her, but another part was merely curious, wondering where the girl had come from and what had her so high strung. Maybe she just needed to toughen up. It wasn't his business, so to speak, but he liked being involved in all aspects of the place he resided. He liked knowing what was going on. Not for any kind of personal gain, but just to know.

"Thank you, Heather," he purred, not in a sexual manner, but just because that's how his voice worked. He grinned at her, hands still clasped behind his back, and stepped toward her, still taking everything about her in. "You may call me Graverobber. Everyone else does," he commented simply with a shrug, as if nothing in the world could possibly be odd about being called 'Graverobber.'

He didn't necessarily unnerve her -- the visions were doing a well enough job of that on their own -- but something about him seemed a little bit...off. She didn't know how or in what way, but when he revealed to her that he was called Graverobber, she honestly wasn't surprised.

"Graverobber, of course," she replied, smirking ever so slightly at the irony and watching him closely at the same time. Heather wasn't the most trusting person in the world to begin with, so it didn't help that he was watching her with such obvious curiosity. She was still trying to figure out what was so odd about him, other than the way he looked and his name, of course.

"How do you get a name like that, anyway?" Why not ask, right? She could be curious, too. And in a way, she kind of was.

Of course that would be the first question. However, that being the first question she asked gave him more information about the place than she could have known she would reveal. He had been called Graverobber because that was what he did. He felt fairly safe in deducing that graverobbing was not a common occurrence here, so he probably wouldn't be executed on sight for doing it again. Business would be so much easier if that were the case. Not that he minded the danger, it was simply inconvenient.

"Because it's my job," he answered with another grin. He wasn't ashamed. In fact, he was proud. It was a great job, as far as he was concerned. "And most of the people I interact with are too stoned to remember an actual name. They're lucky to remember my job."

He robbed graves for a living. Well, that made sense, didn't it? All the same, it wasn't something she'd been expecting to hear him say. She blinked in surprise a few times, but continued to smirk, not really showing any other signs of shock. "Should've known."

When he mentioned the people he usually spent time with being stoned half the time, an eyebrow quirked immediately. "So what, you rob graves and sell drugs, then? Pretty interesting line of work there." Granted, she had no idea if the stoned part was his doing, but it was just a wild guess on her part.

Graverobber chuckled deeply and smirked back at Heather. "Nice guess," he answered, nodding. "The people demand, I simply supply." He spread his hands and shrugged as if to say his hands were tied by the system, but of course that was hardly the case. Granted, he hated constantly being bothered by the scalpel sluts, but what else was he going to do?

"And you, Heather? What do you do all day - or night - long?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow. After all, what was a girl of her age doing out all alone at this time of night?

Again, she was surprised by the response that she got from Graverobber, but not as much as she could have been. He looked like he fit the part, and while looks could be deceiving, Heather found that usually people were pretty easy to read in a lot of cases. She 'read' them as unworthy of being trusted quite a bit of the time, but if she got that vibe, what was the harm in being safe, rather than sorry? Or in Heather's case, she just didn't want the hassle.

"You're...kinda looking at it," she replied, glancing around, gesturing with her arms, and then looking back to the man in front of her. She wasn't about to tell him that since arriving in Colligo, she'd been trying to just be normal, going to school and getting a job, but she'd abandoned that not long after. Now, she really wasn't sure what she was going to do, especially with Barbas hanging around scaring the shit out of everyone, but the whole normal thing wasn't really for her. "Not as glamorous as grave robbing or playing a drug pimp."

Her comments about his job being glamorous, whether they were meant to be sarcastic or not, caused Graverobber to chuckle again. Heather sort of reminded him of a jaded Shiloh. "You won't hear anything about it from me, kid. Do whatever you want. It doesn't really matter in the end anyway." He shrugged and looked amused.

"Just watch yourself. You never know what's skulking around in the dark." People like him skulked around in the dark. It was simply a matter of opinion whether or not that was a bad thing. Granted, this seemed like a safer place to be running around at night than his world, but he could still feel some dangerous things out there. He really would have to explore the underworld of this place sometime, find out what he was dealing with. Nothing he couldn't handle, he was sure, but it was best to be prepared all the same.

In spite of herself, Heather let out a laugh of her own when he told her about not knowing what was lurking in the shadows. He didn't know the irony of what he'd just told her, but she did, and she couldn't help but find it pretty hilarious. In fact, as she stood there, she could see all of the remnants of Silent Hill surrounding her. The fog, the decay, and of course, the monsters.

"You...really don't have to warn me about what kind of shit is out there just waiting to prey on innocent young girls." They probably weren't talking about the same kind of dangers, but that wasn't really important.

No, they weren't exactly talking about the same kind of dangers, but Graverobber was using a blanket statement. Lots of things waited around in the dark, not just killers and rapists. That was most likely what she thought he meant, and he did, but he meant more than that as well. Granted, he didn't know about Silent Hill.

"You seem like a feisty one. That's good." He liked feisty a lot better than innocent and naive. Those traits did good for Shiloh, but more often than not, he didn't care for them. But feisty? That was fun. And it would probably serve her better in life than too much naivety.

Heather arched a brow once again, the corner of her mouth still turned upward into what had to have looked like a permanent smirk by now. She couldn't help it, though. Maybe she was crazy -- well, she kind of figured she was crazy by now, but that wasn't the point -- but she liked the guy. He was different, and Heather liked different. She gravitated toward different. That was all because she'd finally accepted the fact that she was what most people would consider a freak.

"Feisty, huh? I'd ask if that's a good thing, but obviously, it is. Sometimes people don't like feisty." She'd never considered herself feisty before, but it had to be true if a stranger saw it, right? "I could call you feisty, but maybe you're just dumb. All that illegal activity you got going on." Again, she smirked.

Kristina hadn't been out in the dark in a long time and the cool air sent a sensation down her spine. Pausing mid step she noticed two forms standing in the dark and a easy smirk crept to her lips.

Stepping closer she saw the build of the figures, guessing one was a male and the other female. Silently she watched for a few moments it looked like a drug deal. The mere thought made the monster call out to her. It could be time, I know you miss it She shook her head things just got better in this hell hole.

"Hi, I'm B.Br...Bree Kristina" It was friendly enough she didn't feel any harm. Another glance at the male and her deal was shut, the girl on the other hand she was slightly cautious about.

The Graverobber was hardly a simple man. He knew someone else was there at least as soon as she'd spotted him, possibly before. He just didn't feel the need to make that known. After all, no one snuck up on the Graverobber. They all needed him too much. And if that wasn't already the case in this new world, it would be soon.

"Hello, Kristina," he answered simply when she finally approached. A quick glance told him everything he needed to know. She wasn't a scalpel slut, but she wanted something nonetheless. Inwardly, he rolled his eyes. He really did wonder sometimes why he got into this line of work.

Taken aback by the greeting she clenched her teeth, the churning noise taking control over her word process. That little, you should show him just how you feel. Forcing a smile she nodded "welcome to Colligo" the words snapped through her teeth.

The thought of turning and walking away pleased her as much as standing there and taking his shit. Or just ----- She wasn't going to go that far. Gently she waited for his response looking for something interesting to hear.
