WHO: Heather & Cassidy. WHAT: Dealing with the fear. WHEN: Tonight. WHERE: Their place. RATING: TBD. STATUS: Incomplete.
Heather was most certainly not in her proper state of mind any longer. It wasn't just the fear that was getting to her, but the visions on Silent Hill itself. It was not only frightening her, but also bringing back memories that were very nearly traumatizing her all over again. No matter how much Cassidy or anyone else tried to tell her it wasn't real, she didn't seem to ever be fully convinced. With good reason, too, since everytime she looked outside, she saw the fog and the monsters. She saw the decay that had taken over the city of Colligo. She heard the static blaring over the radio. Maybe no one else saw or heard these things, but she did, and that was what made it completely real to her.
Currently, she was standing by the window in Cassidy's room, where she had pretty much set up camp since moving in. She barely slept or ate, just stood there or sat up in bed with her eyes still glued to the window. She couldn't help but keep watch outside, even though everytime she tried to show Cassidy what she saw, he never knew what she was talking about. She wasn't lying when she said it had been perfect timing. She knew she wouldn't have wanted to be around a psychopathic vampire during a time like this, and it made it a hell of a lot easier to be living with Cassidy, rather than forcing him to stay with her at her place the whole time, which she definitely would have done.
She could hear Cassidy's footsteps as he entered the room behind her, but she was focused on the large group of dead dogs that were circling out front. And then there was a larger monster, like the ones she'd first seen back home at the mall. Huge, lumbering creatures with fists like giant sledgehammers and bodies that looked like they'd been sewn together from other parts. She didn't bother to tell Cassidy about it. He never saw them anyway.
