The people had seemed nice enough minus all the crazy screams and freaking out. The town itself was a different story, she hadn't heard about it nor knew how she got here. One thing Kristina did know was that she really needed to taste the monster and get out of her clothes. If only I hadn't left all of the half pound of monster in the cop car
Slinging open what seemed to be her door, she cowered as it hit the wall. The first thing that greeted her was a living room, with three doors leading away from it. One was obviously a sliding, glass door that led to what appeared to be a balcony. The other two, she guessed, were doors leading to the bedrooms. It also seemed like someone else occupied the apartment and that intimidated her for a moment. Aww come on don't be intimidated. I bet they know the whole city and its soft spots. Shaking her head slowly at Bree's comment in her head as she crept into the dark. Checking each bedroom, it was the second one that was empty and she assumed was meant to be hers. It had a bed, dresser, desk. All of the amenities that one might expect in a bedroom, really. Including two other doors that revealed a closet, and a bathroom that was shared by the other occupant of the apartment. Eying the bed, Kristina muttered, "At least I can sleep off the crash ready to come." She threw the words into the room as though all this was the fault of the room itself.
As she lowered herself into the bed she stashed the $100 into the pillow case. First thing in the morning I seriously need to buy a new safe. Although unable to sleep she tossed and turned for several hours. Ending up sitting in hall staring off to space as if she wished she was in the cell. At least there would be food, hey here there are cute boys!! Great I have to put up with you here to. Aww come on at least I am someone you know.
Kristina tried desperately to remember back in a time before she had met with her other personality Bree, or the monster for that fact, but it was hard to think and it hurt to try. Looking around she figured the time was almost morning and people would start to move around, but that didn't encourage her to try her bed again. She sat there wide eyed and waiting for either the crash from the drugs coursing through her system to come, something exciting that would warrant getting off the hallway floor, or the craving for more drugs to encourage her to leave her spot and go to the streets in search of a fix.
Without a clear idea of what was coming next, the young woman simply stayed where she was on the floor in the hallway of the apartment building, and waited for something, or someone, to come along and offer some sort of guidance.
