"Stupid cheerleaders," Heather mumbled with a laugh, watching Cassidy's hands as if she was actually watching the school burst into flames. She would have been especially excited if it actually was happening right in front of her. School wasn't one of her favorite places at all, to say the least.
Watching as Cassidy rose to his feet and threw another molotov into a light post, she gave a loud shout of glee, like a little kid opening presents on Christmas morning. "Best one yet!" she cried, laughing almost raucously and leaning back until she was actually lying on the ground, staring up at the sky. She continued to laugh, but the sound eventuall quieted down as she just watched the blackness up above her. She was almost contented by it, and she smiled a bit gently as she said, "I could stay here forever, you know?" A pause, and she spoke a little softer as she continued. "Back home I'd probably be dead. In a little while, anyway. I don't think a person would want to live too long after going through all that shit and then not having anybody around to help you out. I don't have any family, you can't when someone just -- poof -- makes you up out of thin air. And then the friend thing, well, you know all about that. I'm all anti-social back home, too." She realized she was rambling, so without moving too much, she merely picked her head up and flashed him a small smile. "Yeah, sorry. Shutting up now."
