Heather laughed, taking a swig of her own beer, finishing it off before setting the empty bottle down next to her. Her head felt comfortably fuzzy, a little bit swimmy, and it was just the right kind of feeling for sitting around blowing stuff up with her -- yes, she was going to refer to him as it now -- best friend. It was like nothing in the world could hurt them, nothing in the world could interrupt their time together. At least, that was what the buzz was doing, and Heather definitely preferred it that way.
"You're right, you know," she replied with a sigh. "It's really... It's good for the soul." She laughed again. "Fuck meditation, this is how you really relax."
No amount of alcohol could stop her from noticing the troubled tone Cassidy's words had taken as he continued. Of course he was troubled, Veronica was gone, and now he was worried about others disappearing, too. In all honesty, so was Heather. She didn't want to go back to Silent Hill, and even if that wasn't where she was put if whoever was in charge here decided she didn't need to be in Colligo anymore, she still didn't want to go back to a place where she was alone, stuck having to deal with everything she'd gone through by herself. Really, she didn't have anyone back there. No family, no friends, nothing. She liked it better here with Cassidy, even when it sucked and people were being taken away. She desperately hoped neither of them ever had to go.
"We could blow up the city?" she suggested, smirking a little and shifting so that her chin was resting on his shoulder. "The whole thing, just one big kaboom."
