Heather was trying. She really was. She didn't actually have the heart to tell Cassidy, but this whole normal thing, going to school and work, talking about how lame cheerleaders were and everything, it just wasn't working. It hadn't been since day one. She wasn't normal, she didn't feel normal, and forcing it was just making her feel more like a freak than ever before. She would never really feel comfortable around many other people, and just sitting in a classroom made her feel uneasy, let alone trying to take tests, study, socialize, do homework...
Blowing stuff up, though? That seemed to help more than anything else, especially if it would make Cassidy feel better about Veronica leaving.
"Shut up," she retorted with a lopsided smirk as she took the bottle from him. She made quick work of lighting it, and a split second later it was sailing a good distance across the parking lot, shattering in a fiery little explosion as it hit the ground. "I'd like to see Barbie do that."
Taking a break to collect her half-empty beer bottle from near her feet, she took a swig and sighed. No, she didn't feel like getting wasted, but it was always nice to have a bit of a buzz. She couldn't help but bring a case of it along with her.
"This is nice," she remarked with a bit of a tranquil tone to her voice, as if they were just hanging out somewhere and not throwing molotovs across an empty parking lot.
